Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was hired on with Americans Serving American recent to work in their main office and be a part of their marketing team. My boss was David Ashby the founder of the company, he's also the one who pitches the investors and does the sale training. It seemed really exciting at first until I started getting calls and messages on social media from very upset members who weren't getting paid and from investors who had lost their life savings and couldn't get David to call them back. That's when I started to realize this could be a major scam. David has been taking money from investors and pooling it together to buy securities he's creating with ASA projects. (That's what the private investigator told me) Now!! I found out America's Serving American's is under investigation by the State of Georgia's Security Commission for fraud and the case was just moved to federal court. This isn't good! I know, for myself, I didn't even get paid for a while then he offered me gift cards and told me not to tell anyone. The mistake heartbreaking part of this is the entrepreneurs who are being scammed. They are being told they'll be getting large funding amounts from ASA then only get a small portion. ASA (David Ashby) even does a big check presentation and shows up at their home with a check but tells them they don't really get the whole amount and they can't say anything. For example, one lady was promised $200k. David showed up at her home with a large check for $200k but really only gave her a small percentage of it via wire the next day, but told her she couldn't say anything. And, he still made her sign over a large part of the company!! To make matters worse, where's the $200k? The members at ASA worked hard to raise or donate those fund, where do they go? Here's what the private investigator told me to do, and you should too if you were scammed. 1) If you are an investor: you should immediately contact the State of Georgia Securities Division and file a complaint. https://sos.ga.gov/index.php/securities/investor_and_donor_alerts 2) You should file a federal complaint as well. https://www.sec.gov/reportspubs/investor-publications/complaintshtml.html 3) File a lawsuit ASAP. You want to file fast so you're at the top of the list and maybe Mr. Ashby will do the right thing and fix it. If not, then you have the courts on your side. In most states, if it's under $10, 000 you can file in small claims court. If not, you'll file in federal. If you're a member who hasn't be paid or an employee then 1) File a lawsuit ASAP. You want to file fast so you're at the top of the list and maybe Mr. Ashby will do the right thing and fix it. If not, then you have the courts on your side. In most states, if it's under $10, 000 you can file in small claims court. If not, you'll file in federal. 2) File will the BBB.org 3) You should also file on Ripoffreport.com to warn others. You can also reach the private investigator at [email protected] Warning! The new TrendUP program is a major scam. I’ll be posting about it a few times per week on various consumer websites to warn others.

Response from David Ashby, founder of Americans Serving Americans

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Pre-Summary:

  • The man who wrote this article is named Brock Felt.
  • He has a decade long history of Fraud. See link below.
  • He committed Fraud against my company by frauding someone he was paid to help.
  • He has been notified that he will not receive another dime from our company.
  • Now, he's telling lies to bully me into paying him.

My name is David Ashby and I am the founder of Americans Serving Americans. The post that I am responding to was written by an individual named Brock Felt. He lives in Utah and was hired by our company to help provide mentorship and sales opportunities for a few of the entrepreneurs that my company has financially supported.

In recent months, it was discovered that Brock committed fraud against one of our entrepreneurs, who he was hired to help with their business. As a result, this entrepreneur had to seek legal representation to undo what Brock had done. After personally having a conversation with the entrepreneur and learning of Brock's illegal actions, I immediately notified Brock that he will not receive any additional pay from my company.

Instead of apologizing and understanding the consequences of his actions, Brock decided to make various threats towards me and ASA. In various email and text communications, he made it very clear that if he doesn't receive his money, he would attempt to harm ASA and myself. It's no surprise that he had to resort to telling lies.

Let's clear some things up for the audience Brock!

  • For starters, my company does not have a marketing team at our office. At most, 2-3 people are stationed at our office, which includes me. I understand it makes your lie more believable to pretend that you work at our office and are getting some type of inside scoop. You know that you live in Utah and I live in Georgia. You also know that you work out of Utah and I work out of Georgia.
  • Next, your story about the lady who was awarded a $200,000 check is completely bogus. ALL entrepreneurs, who are supported by ASA, are made publicly known to our audience. And, to date, no female entrepreneur has been awarded that amount. So, go ahead and name the entrepreneur and her company?!?! I'll be waiting...
  • ASA does not make any entrepreneur sign over a large part of their business. I know it sounds good to write that. It helps your story Brock. Good for you! But, as you truly know, ASA is in the business of helping entrepreneurs, not hurting them, like you attempted to do with someone who we trusted you to help.
  • You did not hire a Private Investigator. I personally informed you that the state of GA is investigating my company to learn more about how we operate. Lying about Federal Court and encouraging people to make calls to governing agencies about ASA, based on the lies you've told is very concerning. My company does not sell securities! I AM TAKING THIS VERY SERIOUSLY! AND, I AM EXCITED THAT RIPOFFREPORT . COM KEEPS A RECORD OF EVERYONE'S NAMES, EMAILS, AND PHONE NUMBERS! This information will be requested and used to prove your extortion plot against me.

Brock, I warned you not to play EXTORTIONIST games! With this article, you have shown your intent to harm ASA and myself, due to us not complying to give you any additional money. It's a shame that you had to resort to this. But, as the founder of ASA, and as someone who is responsible for the success of my company and those involved, I will be pressing Felony Extortion charges against you! I warned you and you didn't listen.

You could have written an article based on truth, to at least pretend that your intent is pure. But, making up stories about being hired to work at our office and witnessing things that never happened, is truly disgusting. As I told you, via email and text, you have proven that you are just not a good person. Your character has gotten you into lots of trouble in the past. And, instead of you changing your ways, you continue to take forgranted the mercy that God has shown you by allowing you to still be a Free man.

To those reading this, Brock Felt has attempted to Extort me with lies and exaggerations. Unfortunately, I was not aware that Brock has a long history of fradulent activity. It's quite ironic that Brock would write an article about me on Ripoffreport.com. He clearly wants me to be like him, who has dozens of reports written about him on Ripoffreport. Here's the link to learn more about Brock.

I should have done more due diligence, before hiring Brock to help a few of our entrepreneurs with their businesses. Unfortunately, I believed Brock when he stated that his reputation suffered from actions taken by his past business partners. After seeing what he has done to one of our entrepreneurs and seeing him create this fake article, I now know what he is capable of!

I am gathering ALL content, including this article, to provide to the FBI and my local police department. Extortion laws are there to protect people from being harmed by lies and trickery.

BROCK, LET ME BE CLEAR TO YOU ON THIS PLATFORM. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANOTHER DIME FROM MY COMPANY! IN ADDITION TO PRESSING MY OWN CHARGES, I WILL ASSIST OUR ENTREPRENEUR WITH DOING THE SAME!
