Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

The problems started with a bait and switch on the day of install.  Will Wemmer quoted me a price to install panels in my yard where they would be facing south all day.  The cost to install in the yard includes a cement base, framing, and electrical trenching.  On the day of install, Marc Zurla showed up and claimed they had to put the panels on the roof.  I think they did that to inflate the estimate at first while planning to put them on my roof.

The company owners totally blew me off until I put bad reviews on the internet.  They said they wanted to make things right and that I got their attention. Marc Zurla, owner of the company, threatened me by saying my reviews are slanderous and costing him business.  I have texts and emails to prove everything I say.

Here are the issues:

1) Bait and switch on the day of install

2) They never had a permit to install panels on my roof.

3) To put panels on the roof, local code requires a structural engineer report. The company never had one done and now I can't close out my permit until I hire someone.  This was supposed to be part of the job.

4) Their workers opened a leak in my roof.  They fixed it inadequately and it leaked the very next time it rained. Marc Zurla never sent anyone from his company to fix the roof, even though I have a text from his employee, Dayan, stating they would.

5) We made an agreement that Empire Solar would pay my central hudson bills over the winter. I texted pictures to Dayan and mailed copies with a paper they wanted me to sign.

6) Marc Zurla wrote to me saying he was refusing to pay for a structural engineer to perform an inspection and he would, "have his engineer sign off" on it.  That sounds like more fraud.  How can his engineer "sign off" on the project if they haven't performed an inspection?

I have been lied to, threatened, and then lied to some more.  These guys spend all their time grabbing people's money and trying to scare dissatisfied customers into dropping the negative reviews.

DON'T TRUST THEIR REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY ARE MANIPULATED BY THE OWNERS TRYING TO SCARE PEOPLE WHO WRITE NEGATIVE ONES.

These guys are total fraudsters
