I purchased a car there, and within three weeks it started cutting off. i was told "just bring it by, we'll take care of you". when i went to pick up the car, I had to pay $150. Thanks for taking care of me. 10 minutes down the road, the car was still cutting off!!! this was a friday afternoon, so I was stuck for teh weekend. Called Monday morning, and the mechanic told me "well you told me this". But they were supposed to have put my car on the computer to tell them what to fix?? Had to get diagnosis at the deallership (not cheap) and paid another $130 for a part to fix it. a month goes by and the radiator goes bad. dealership told me it was "patched up". $900. two weeks later the tranny goes. I'm leaving the car right where it is and they can come pick it up. Only had the car 4 months. And I am the most philosophical person when it comes to keep my car running in top shape.
I referred two others there, and one of them has a dead engine, only had car for 3 months.

First of all, All of our cars get a 30 Day/1,000 mile warranty on all power train items. If this truly was the scenario I would be very surprised. If this person would like to reach me at 813-493-1811 I would be glad to review these circumstances and see what we can do to rectify this situation. If they were out of our warranty period we will generally allow financing on any repairs that are necessary. Again, I can't do anything unless it is brought to my attention.
Sincerely,

Sorry for your bad experiences as well as those of your friends. Apparently they sold you JUNK as well as the two you recommended. The other problem is they are hiding behind the BBB. You may have thought of the BBB as some sort of friend of yours and all consumers. In reality, the BBB is a SCAM as your experience most definitely shows. Anybody...ANYBODY can "BUY" a BBB membership and use it in their efforts to convince you how honest and full of integrity they are. Anybody...ANYBODY can BUY a "BBB ACCREDITATION". In their case, they BOUGHT an "A-"! The BBB is just as sleazy as those who sell phoney diplomas. Since they are a BBB "member", you can try their "mediation" program. But beware...the alleged "disinterested 'mediator' is a BBB employee! This so-called "mediator" is going to "decide" between you and one of their "customers" with a bought and paid for phoney accreditation...providing the BBB with income. Who do you think the "mediator" will decide in favor of?
This should be a learning experience. First, never, ever buy a used car until and unless you have your own mechanic check it out. Secondly, do not place an ounce of trust in the BBB. As you can very easily see, the BBB is a part of the problem and the BBB is a clear and very obvious SCAM!
Good luck!
