Hello Everybody,
This is Arshad from Lahore, Pakistan. I want to inform you to please be careful of scammers now a days world wide. They are trying to sell NOKIA, HTC, O2, especially N96 nokia at around 250 US $ each set but actually they don't provide any set later on. Let me try to explain how they operate:
First of all they would be very professional towards you. Give you proper treatment and ask you to deposit 60% or 70% of the amount in advance and remaining amount on receiving phone. Initially they will tell that the cost of 250 US$ or 300 US$ would include taxes, shipping charges also. BUT ONCE you deposit the money their game starts. Now they would TELL you to
"oh sorry Sir, we have a problem here the courier company is asking for taxes to be paid IN ADVANCE and you need to pay 100 US$ more so that the shipment can be on its way". Even if you pay that amount they would then say Sorry Sir, now company has changed the policy and now you have to buy at least 5 or 10 sets at least to continue the order.
RESULT nothing will be delivered.
they have new CATCHES now a days. They would even give you tracking number of fedEX OR UPS (reliable courier service) but remember these tracking numbers are against "Electronic request" and it does not mean that the package has been handed over the courier company so be careful. Confirm from the courier company (fedEX or UPS) that the package is on its way to your address before making any payment.
Never accept any private or local courier company tracking company like "VALUEPOSTEXPRESS" A FAKE COURIER COMPANY.
Conclusion:
They are just scammers and won't provide anything so please don't loose your money. They basically operate from "Some African states" and when ever they would call you the number would be something like +2348.......... but when they provide you number it would be U.K number +44703...... " You must also know that there are several method in this cyberworld to assign International number to your local number. so don't be trapped.
