I keep receiving email from this ACS Legal Group and I have never borrowed money from Advance Cash America and I want this to stop....this is the 2nd email I have received and they have not prosecuted yet...

If there is anyway to sue for distress this is the time...

There are times when you just have to stop taking everything so seriously.  This is nothing more than the millions of SPAM e-mails that get circulated every day.  Because these scammers are not even in this country and use throw away cell phones, the best thing you can do is trash the e-mail and move on.

I would bet the e-mail has very bad grammar and spelling.  It is also probably generic in that it doesn't give any specifics about you.  There is also probably something in the e-mail to the effect of them saying that your SSN is in danger of being frozen.

If you want to have fun with them and they provide a phone number.  Give them a call from a public phone.  PRETEND that you are very concerned about getting this taken care of and will do anything to get it fixed.  If they ask for your personal information give them a fake name, and address.  I personally like giving them the address of my local police station.  If you have a junk e-mail address give them that as well.

They will most likely ask you to send them a Western Union Moneygram or a Pre-Paid debit card.   Tell them that you will and they will probably ask you to send them the information.  What you do instead is get a fake number and give them that.   If they haven't figured it out by now, they will realize that the number is fake and then come back and start to yell at you again..well through e-mail.  When it gets to that point I usually then tell them I know they are a scammer and if they actually research the address and phone number you gave them they may be shocked to find out.  After that I never hear from them again.
