Adam Hersh Posters rip-off artists, money-grabbers, scamming lying thieves Alhambra California
At the end of April of this year, I ordered 2 posters from this company's ebay store, after carefully reading the feedback from other consumers. It was all positive.
2 weeks later I finally received a poster tube...but with only the smaller of the 2 posters with no explanation of where the other one was. I contacted them immediately by phone and was informed that the post office had sent it back because it had been mangled and they were sending another one, to expect it soon.
2 more weeks go by, I contact them again and am told that it is on back order but should be in within 4 weeks and they would send me an email when it is shipped with a tracking number. 4 weeks go by and, of course, I don't hear from them, so I send another email. I get an obviously automatic response about it being at my local post office, they supply the tracking number again, which is not valid. And the poster is not at my local post office.
Now 2 months have passed, I try and file negative feedback on ebay, only to discover that they no longer sell through ebay, and I am now past the due date to file anything anyway!
I called the number to ask for my money back, it has been too long. The woman supplied me with an email address to get my money back. I sent 3 emails within about 4-5 days of each other and, of course, never did get any response back.
Every few days I called the number and most of the time it is a recording saying leave a message. I have done that too many times to count, and, once again...no response. The few times I have actually talked to a person, there is some excuse or another, such as the guy that deals with refunds isn't here but will be in an hour. Still no call backs!
I will follow the other complaintant's lead and contact the authorities in California. At this point it is the principle of the thing...My loss adds up to about $13...not much, really, but this was supposed to be for my 11 year old son, and he is quite disappointed!!
