My complaint:

Adobe Systems INC.

Bld. #2

Kennesaw, GA 30144

On Dec 29, 2005, I was stupid enough to buy Adobe Pre. Pro 1.5. It is a video editing program. I am an A+ certified computer technician. This program is so poorly written, it has nothing but problems. I had contacted Adobe within the week that I purchased it. Would you believe that these crooks expect you to pay them to help you set this program up?!!?? It's a $1,500 program, and they want to soak you for money right out of the box.

When I refused to pay for support, the person I spoke with told me to buy the new '2.0' version. I found out later, that I was entitled to this version FOR FREE!! But the crook on the phone was not going to tell me that.

I complained about the fact that this program did not work on my system. They told me to:

1. Add more memory

2. Upgrade to an AMD 64 chip

3. Buy a dual raid hard drive

This cost me over $400. I am a college student that was laid off from Kodak. It took me over a month to do this. I griped enough about it and they sent me the 2.0 disc for $6. That would have been great if the d**n thing worked. I get nothing but errors, and it does not do what it claims on the box. I think they programmed it to screw up so that they can make a ton of loot for phone support.

I have been on their online help blog. Hundreds of people are having the same issues as I am. Adobe has done nothing to fix these issues. Why should we pay all this money for such a buggy program? And then they have the nerve to expect us to pay them, to find out if it's their program that is at fault - our computer?

I demanded a refund, and they told me I passed the '30 day refund window'. Well, if their lousy support staff had not told me to upgrade my computer to the tune of $400+, and then 'call back - if your still having problems' - I would have gotten my money back.

I am demanding that they refund my $202.99 + $6.00 for the shipping of their other crappy upgrade.

I am going to post all of the issues people are having with this program on this report.
