Booked my tickets to fly from Pittsburgh to India five months prior to the trip. I have asked the agent plenty of time about the extra baggage, usually you are allowed only one baggage, but Kuwait airlines offer two baggage, so he said you won't ahve any problem. so he booked my ticket for a Hugh amount, it was four of us. I went to the airport for my trip, and at the pittsburgh internation airport, I had a problem with the baggage,
lady at the ticket counter said that the travel agent booked your domestic seperately NOT with the international, so I have to charge for the extra baggages... that was four of us, so I had to pay for four extra baggages, I called SAM (agent) from the airport, he didn't know what to say, he spoke to the lady, and the lady said we can't do anything about this, you guys made the mistake. So i told SAM I will keep the recipt, when I return I would like my refund back, he said no problem... we will look into it.
When I came back from India, Problem at the JFK, coming through immigration, I was late, and the Kuwait airlines were delayted also. So I went to delta ticket counter to fly to Pittsburgh, they said you passed the cutoff time, we can't let you fly this flight, I said how about the next flight, they said I would have to pay extra, because you agent booked the ticket seperately... I called my agent on a saturday, so I got their emergency line, where the guy said I can't help. I took a Fricking Greyound from JFK to Pittsburgh.
Finally, when I got home, called the agent and the owner JULIUS, emailed him all the receipts, including greyhound bill... he replied me back stating I can't help with none of this... I hate this Comapny, I hope someone would do something about this... is not about my refund, but how many people getted ripped off like this....
