Complaint Review: Amanda Mehrer - Fort Richardson Alaska

It has been a long time since this but I reread what we wrote and it seems like a show on Jerry Springer. This woman is now suspended on eBay (has been for a couple of years) and even though she admits that nothing happened to her, it still doesn't hold water if you look at the facts. The fact is that there is a policy on eBay that doesn't allow people to raise money for themselves or their family - it HAS to be a legitimate cause. She DID NOT get consent from the Secretary Of State to acquire tax exemption status. It was reported way back then but unfort. nothing came out of it. The eBay rep. emails back then were generic and only knew so much - now they only accept phone communication. Charging people for not selling a physical item such as that is not only wrong, it's criminal. She also got another piece of this wrong...I am not an old man - the man calling her was my grandfather because he was trying to help but he did not make threats. There was no "sister" - it was me (she doesn't have the story straight). I did overstep the boundaries a little bit and for that I apologize. I do not enjoy fighting either but this person really got my nerves and didn't handle it very professionally. Case closed.

I WOULD JUST LIKE YOU TO KNOW THAT NOTHING EVER HAPPENED. EBAY SAYS I DID NOTHING WRONG. IF THE FBI WAS NOTIFIED THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT THIS. IF BBB WAS NOTIFIED THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT THIS. IF EBAY WAS NOTIFIED THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT THIS. IT JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT I DID NOTHING WRONG AND THE FACT THAT I DID NOT GET IN ANY SORT OF TROUBLE FOR IT SHOWS THAT I WAS IN THE RIGHT. I ALSO HAD A VERY LONG CONVERSATION WITH AN EBAY REPRESENTITIVE AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE WAY I WAS GOING ABOUT THE LISTINGS WAS NOT AGAINST POLICY BECAUSE I CLEARLY STATE IN MY LISTINGS THAT THIS IS FOR MY FAMILY AND NOT ANY SORT OF ITEM. I DID NOT FALSIFY ANYTHING AND WHEN THIS MAN BID ON THE ITEM HE COULD CLEARLY SEE WHAT IT WAS FOR BUT WANTED TO LEAVE BAD FEEDBACK AND START SOMETHING. SADLY THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE LIKE THIS THAT JUST ENJOY FIGHTING.

I'm sorry that it went that far but she harassed me too at the same time. I would appreciate if no one replied to this report anymore. I'm moving on.

This man just can not get over himself. Since I asked for him not to contact me anymore he had his (sounded like) 80 year old sister call me at 3 in the morning and she said "F*** YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND."(she said more than that but that was the worst part). You can say that to me all you want but you should not insult the person who risks his life to save yours. Anyways. I went to my local authorities (with all emails and voicemails in hand) to see what legal steps I could take to stop the harassment. The officer said that, not only could I file harassment charges against him and his sister, I could also file assault charges against him for making threats of violence. I told him that I didn't want to file charges if I didn't have to but it was coming to the point were I might need to. He told me that if I didn't want to I didn't have to but if it happens again I should contact their local police department immediately to inform them of the situation and file charges for assault, harassment, and to get a restraining order against both of them. Oh, I can also file charges against his sister for committing a hate crime against my husband because she worded her voicemail in a way that sounds like shes saying f**k you because you're a us soldier and that is discriminating against him and his personal preferences.

There is good news. The seller finally got so sick of this that she refunded me the other day. She was the worst ebay seller I've ever had. Glad it's over. She blocked me from bidding on her auctions but I don't care. I wouldn't do business with her if she was the last person on Earth. Thanks to the above poster - I filed that report to the FBI about her devious actions.

Depending on how much money she/they (if spouse assisted) collected this could be a federal crime.  I would write an official notorized letter to ebay advising them.  They can trace the IP address and find out if she has utilized pseudonyms to sell to others and how much she has made.  They then will be forced to hand over the information to her local authorities as Ebay is bound to turn over any information surrounding crimes that may have federal implications to authorities.

To register a charity and collect donations one must first obtain consent from their Secretary of State to obtain tax exempt status.  Some states require it also to be approved by the dept of labor.  Without this status, you are commiting a crime and can face mass penalties including jail time for falsely represnting yourself.  Issues will arrise with the FBI and the IRS. 

If I were you, I'd report her to the FBI and the state police where she resides (not where you are). 

This is illegal gift collecting under false pretense. 

im not suspended because i didnt do anything wrong. if you read the full message the ebay rep says that she reviewed my ebay so obviously shed seen the listing and she got every email and ebay message ever sent between the two of us. she is not in the dark about ANYTHING!!!

That eBay rep is in the dark. She doesn't know that the item wasn't even supposed to be on eBay and asking strangers for money when selling nothing is wrong. And this witch made all that fuss over a stupid neutral feedback that didn't even hurt her score. GET OVER IT!

This is the last warning. If there are anymore contacts from you I'm filing a police report. I know a couple police officers personally. I'm blocking all your emails. I don't want a f**king thing from you - don't even bother sending anything because all shipments will be refused from your address. Any emails you send me via ebay will not be replied to and reported. You're a miserable piece of s**t who needs to be kicked off eBay. Off with the sellers head was just an expression but you took it to mean something literally. You are such an awful person that I wonder why you even got married. If anyone went through what I did with you, they would tell you to just go to hell. You go to hell bi*h! Stop sending me emails - you're the one who's harassing me. I told you 3 times to leave me alone. Don't make me file a restraining order. So, go poop in your shitty box and go f*k yourself!

So you can see what a crazy old he is. I know hes old because he called my phone and left a voicemail. Yeah he called to harass me... I could tell by his voice that he is not young.

I have actual emails to prove exactly what you said straight out of my email and ebay copied and pasted with times and dates as proof. HA. whos is better proof.

She's the one that was lying. E-mails went like this:

Could you please cancel this transaction please? My 12 year old son bid when he wasn't supposed to and I didn't know this wasn't a legitimate charity and do not wish to participate.

She said (Day after auction ended):

No I don't believe this was an illegal auction you need to pay what you bid on or I'll be reporting you t0o ebay.

I have proof that this customer knew exactly what he was bidding on and only bid to leave bad feedback and then lied and said his 12 year old son bid on it. THIS IS AN OLD MAN. HE DOES NOT HAVE A 12 YEAR OLD. I also have proof of him harassing and threatening me. You will see all of this below.
