American Enterprise Investment Services - Readers Digest Publishers Clearing House, Computers Games And Sweepstakes Databases From Australia, New Zealand, Europe, North And South America, (IPP) Sent a check for 4739.63 to cash, then send back to claim my 50,000$ prize- letter was mailed from Canada Minneapolis Minnesota
I was sent a letter with a check included as a few other have reported. It is a scam, but this check has Wells Fargo on the top, and the company is US based rather than Canada. The same name, John Scofield is attached. . . It looks very convincing. Much more sophisticated than the usual scams I get in the mail. I'm just posting this because the other reports were based out of Canada and this comp. is based in the us, but the letter was mailed in Canada. My first indication that it was a fraudulent check. My second is that, of course, I have not entered into any drawings. Also, the amount on this check to cash is 4739.63, of which I am assuming they are going to ask me to mail to them. What a joke. I hope these scammers get caught one day.
