American Home Mortgage Serviving always applies my extra money that was meant for Prinicpal to furure interest payments Irving Texas
Ever since this company bought my loan they have ripped me off every month, never putting any money toward the principal when it stated in the memo of the check to be applied to the principal, instead every month they put the money in toward interest I had to call 7 or 8 times a month to get this corrected, now I have wired them the payoff amount that was owed to close this loan, and this was done on the June 5th, my bank and their bank have both confirmed that they have received the money $12,128.36 this was their figure to pay off the loan that they charged me $30 for this pay off statement figure. They still say that they have not received this money, this is so they can collect extra interest I'm sure they are very underhanded. They are charging me an extra $190 in fees for the payoff statement, and now that they say they have not received the wire for the payoff I will get charged another $30. Please help are they not doing something illegal by not putting my money toward the prinicipal when that is what it is intented for. And when I call customer service they assure me this was an error and it will be fixed but it never is for months so in the meantime this is a interest only loan so every day they miss apply me money I am cheated out of money because thay are earning extra interest by misappling the money.

i wired them 61,029.70 on january 29,2009 and they claimed they didnt get it for days even though i have a recipt that confirms that they're bank recieved the funds on january 29,2009. they claim i didnt pay them until febuary 9 ,2009 and are ripping me off for 10 days interest. they said to fax them copies of the bank reciepts and the Iolta which i have 2 times, and in early june after months of calling those morons in the indian call center who barely speak broken english i finally get an english speaking person in texas saying they will research my claim! a month later they send letter saying that research concluded that this loan was paid on feb 9, 2009! the attorney general in MA martha coakly already took them to federal court and got injunction against them and the court agreed with her and found they violate federal lending laws and discriminate against minorites! these people are the biggest crooks ! just filed my ripoff report today i sell my house and i buy new onw and old mortgage company ahmsi rips me off and new one wells fargo screws things up too! i get it from both ends! wheres barney frank when you need him!!!
