Me and my husband are on-going a rough divorce and me being the only person on the loan became default. I had attempted reaching ASC to find out about my options to re-instate my account before it went into foreclosure. I was instructed that I could either do a repayment plan (which would not really benefit me), short sale my home, or just repay the whole amount. I found out I had enough money at my retirement plan to get this fixed and when I called them they failed to tell me my home was already in foreclosure. They never send me anything over the mail regarding the date my home would go into foreclosure. I mailed them a partial payment on the 10th of july and when I called them on the 23rd of july they told me they were not able to accept that payment due to the home already being on foreclosure as of the 20th. Let alone, I had sent this payment on the 10th. I was never called or received anything about this. On the 23rd I requested a letter with the complete amount I needed to pay them in order for me to get this moneys from the retirement funds. Finally they give me the number to call for the attorney handling my foreclosure on the 26th after numerous attempts and when I called them, they refused to get me through a live person. Every day that goes by, my fee increases and nothing gets resolved. I am a single mother of a 5 year old with no family in this country and worried that I might lose my only place that I have struggled so hard to have. On july 30th I receive 5 different letters telling me totally different amounts which are $100 dollars less than what they had told me and when I finally speak to a representative (after 27 calls not going through) they tell me they are sorry I have been given incorrect information and that the differetn people I have spoken to did not know what they were saying. They were not able to assist me and that I should wait for the attorney to return to me giving me the figures. Let me remind you, every day that goes by, my fees increase. I also have another loan with a differetn company and they never ever function as irresponsible and selfish as ASC does. I wish myself good luck and patience dealing with these people......Please advice me otherwise.
