Complaint Review: Anglo American Investments - Capital tree Group - Bert Seickmeijer - Anthony Oppenheim - Al Dobbins - anila

The people who i have dealt with are Mr. Anthony Oppenheim and Mr. Bert Seickmeijer .

Mr. Anthony oppenheim through Telephone and email [email protected]. With Mr. Bert, i met him personally with my client in Ahmedabad on 24th October 2005 at Taj Residency Ummed Hotel.

We met this Tall Gentleman who claims to be Chairman of Capital tree Group Ltd. He claims to be a dutch citizen married to a Filipino and settled in the outskirts of Manila , Phillipines.

Mr. Bert invited us to join him for Tea at 10 am and we got enriched with the knowledge of Manila and its traffic, how he drops his kids and other worldly affairs. He then asks us to explain the business plan to him in the restaurant. Since we have a slide presenation we go to his room at 12.30 Pm and show him the slides and a video film of my client's company.

We give him the complete finacials . A copy of the same is sent to his financial Advisor - Mr. Anthony oppenheim of Anglo American Investemnts.

We are told that he has invested in a IATA travel agency in Ahmedabad and is a director with them.

Mr. bert informs us that he is a direct investor and he has a family trust in Luxembourg which has 12 directors. Any investment proposal will be passed by a majority of votes, of course he being the chairman has a veto power etc.

With good faith we awaited his response. After a couple of weeks we are sent a Letter of Interest. our response for that is :

Dear Mr Bert,

Thanks for your draft of LOI. Your appointment of Anglo American Investments and its mandate holder Mr Anthony Oppenheim as due deligence company/representative has raised serious doubts on the outcome of costs payable under point 4 and 12 of the said LOI, as several scams related to advance fees for conducting due deligences have been reported on the following website on this company/representative. badbusinessbureau.com

We do not want to go into details of claims and counter claims reported but ceratinly would like to move with much caution and under the doubtful circumstances our board of directors will agree to review and comment on your offer as expressed in LOI only if Capital Tree Group Ltd agrees to bear 100% of the costs under point 4 and 12 of LOI associated with the due deligence not only from Anglo American Investment but any other due deligence company appointed for this matter. Upon successful disbursement of investment in full to our project we agree to reimburse 50% of costs (which shall need prior sanction of board of directors of our company before incurement) incurred by CTG for the purpose of this due diligence study.

First If you read or say something please proof thaqt also. second I do not like your tone in your email. You like to have our money for you project than you will also do that by our condition we do not do it by yours if you want our money. we just funded 3 companies in india and we had an interview with CNBC tv 18 in india that will be broadcast next week. but that is only for your information because like i said I do not like your tone in your email and we will not go further with you

nor your project.
