Purchased a Washer & Dryer from Appliance Outfitters. The manager stated that the appliances were Brand New but were cosmetically not suitable to be sold in the appliance store they were originally intended for.
Appliance Outfitters delivered the appliances without testing the functionality of the appliances. The washer was plugged in, but it did not operate at all. Had to call to schedule a service call to have a technician look at the washer. The technician stated that a component was missing from the washer. After several days, the technician came back with the component.
The technician started a wash cycle, but the drum was making a very loud noise. I stated that it was unacceptable, and the technician said I had to talk to the manager. I told the manager I wanted the washer noise fixed or receive a refund, for which the manager stated that he would not correct the problem and that All Sales Are Final.
This was sold as a Brand New set of washer and dryer with exterior cosmetic blemishes. It is obvious this is not the case. I feel the sale was made under false pretenses, and the company Appliance Outfitters did not stand behind their sale of product when a problem was discovered by their own technician the first day they started the appliance.
