Assurance wireless takes the cake for the lack of customer service,  I was losing my service provider for years because they were not offering service for my area anymore so I filled out an application online because it's faster, 2 months later and I was no closer then I was the day I filled out the application.  I received a letter in the mail that I was approved and the next step was I was waiting for a pink envelope from lifeline. About a month into this insanity I escalate this to ourteam@assurancewireless asking them what am I waiting for a pink envelope for I already have lifeline and have had lifeline for ten years, ourteam was useless and I continue waiting for this mysterious pink envelope. I finally call the lifeline administrator and get the first real answer, Assurance thinks I'm a new applicant for lifeline. I immediately send them a fax with supporting evidence that I have lifeline, with another application and explaining to them that 2 months have been wasted and I'm going to lose my phone service and I have a medical need to have a phone, I wrote this on the approval letter they sent me and I went ballistic when I found out my application was being reviewed after sending them a fax of my first approval letter and I sent the most profane letter I've ever written. I knew I was going to lose phone service and tried in vain for a work around. Assurance could have called my original service provider explaining that mistakes were made and I'm sure they would have understood and wouldn't have left me with no phone or knowing how pissed off I was you would think Assurance would be intelligent enough to ask me if I would pay for next day delivery for the phone but no they care so much they mail it to me snail mail. I'm thinking of smashing their phone to little pieces and mailing it back to them with a few choice words when it finely arrives.

Sprint Executive and Regulatory Services Heroes instead of Zeros

I received an email from Sprint Executive and Regulatory Services with a number to call, I have other serious issues going on but I wanted this out of the way, I was feeling terrible because  when I began figuring out a timeline of the whole mess it wasn't two months as I said. The executive I talked with said that because ReachoutWireless went out of business there were many people like myself caught in this mess,

Reachout turned most everyone's phone off on April 22, I was allowed until May 10 Reachout felt guilty because I just replaced a phone that had water damage, they should have told me not to buy a phone. Anyway somebody did a smart business move and are going to escalate and fast track this process in order to get people like myself signed up with phones and the company is turning into heroes instead of zeros

The original author neglected to mention that Assurance Wireless is the free wireless phone subsidized 100% by the federal government (commonly known as the "Obamaphone") for those too lazy to work, or get phony medical documentation to obtain said free phone and service.   No sympathy should be provided, and the original author should look to becoming a part of society, working, paying their own way, and not mooch off of the government tete.
