My husband and I fell for the pitch and invested in an All Tube and Lube Franchise. Wiped out our savings, maxed out credit cards personal nd business cards. Horrible experience, no support or word from ATL but they took their percentage no matter what. They want you to fail - it's a win win for them. I rank them up there with Bernie Madoff. Their associates are fully aware of how they are ripping off innocent people looking to get ahead and support their families.
Would be very interested in a Class Action Law Suit.

I have posted my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. We might not be able to get our money back but the BBB has a place that we can post our complaint and warn others. Let's at least do that. I told them that I was going to be a thorn in their side and I never break a promise. I want to join class action suit but no one can contact each other on this site. It is for our protection but it is also a hinderance

I am a fellow perspective ATL Franchisee and would welcome contact based on the information in this claim. If you are suing and are looking for additional plaintiffs, I would be more than welcome to add my name to the list. As I sent a deposit but never fully qualified for the Franchise, I am looking for return of my deposit. This is within their guidelines for people who do not qualify, but they have been giving me the runaround on returning my deposit. In addition, I had first right of refusal for San Diego, California and their preposal includes leases for 5000.00 or less. As for the San Diego locations, I have been unable to find locations worthy of traffic and none have been within this budget. I even looked at locations that were too high priced and too misplaced for traffic. They have susequently opened locations in several of these areas. Does this not leave the guidelines for ATL at a loss. I can not even open down the street if there is a better location at this point. Please contact me.

I find that most people who fail at this business are under funded and not prepared for the long haul. They often give up and blame everyone and everything else. I feel for you but maybe its time to move on with your life?

After leaving this message ATL set up a conference call with GE Capital. Beth with GE has confirmed that in no way does ATL receive any money of any kind at all from GE Capital. GE Fleet charges 13% for us to have the opportunity to do business with them.

I have owned an ATL franchise for 2 1/2 yrs. This franchise is absolutely disgusting. 3 months after opening I pulled my advertising from them and I do it myself. My brother bought a franchise in MI. after trying to talk him out of it. I told him to only buy the All Tune & Lube and not the All Tune Transmissions or ATL Motor Mate. All they do is collect a franchise fee for you to use the name. You do not need to. My brother went to the school after almost a year. They kept trying to get him to buy the other two after he wouldn't buy them, they gave them to him and said that if he did good that he could make payments on them without any written agreement. They give the people those franchises for free and charge eveybody else who allows themselves to be sold on it. ATL has a GE Fleet program. I would not participate if I were you. They say that GE charges a 13% fee to handle their fleet cars and it has to be billed through ATL directly. This reason is that GE does not charge this fee I have been paid directly by GE a few times and every time it was 100% of the ticket. I spoke with GE after Dan Sparby, Vice President insisted that GE charges this fee and that ATL only collects this to assist the franchisees and they stated that they pay what ever the approved amount is that is faxed in by the franchisee. The truth is that ATL is collecting 20% of all of your GE Fleet business on a franchise agreement that states you pay 7%. They try not to pay you at all for them. I have forwarded this to my attorney and now I am going to contact MD atty. Gen. and the FTC.

After 15 months of no negotiations on ATL's side, I will be going to Baltimore for a meeting with them. They have shown no effort to negotiate and I feel it will be a waist of time but must be done. I have turned them into the Texas Attorney General White Collar Crime Unit. I made copies of all the complaints about Atl from this web site. It would be best if everyone would do the same in each state. My Attorney will help also if your states need to contact him. The biggest complaint is fraud. They misrepresent, mislaed and flatout lie.

We tried doing business with All Tune and Lube, and are in the same situation. We were misled between the All Tune and Lube company as well as the owner of the actual store for sale, Ira Brill, (whose business was in bad shape). All Tune and Lube took $11,000 from us, and $10,000 was given to Ira Brill, whose store is located in Skokie, Illinois. After never completing with our accountant's requirements, both parties kept our money, ripping us off, with $21,000. We were also misled into moving our 401K, by a sales rep named Mr. Fisher. Although they said we could pull that money for the franchise without being penalized, that ended up not being the case. Up to this day, we've lost $21,000 plus $5,000 in business related transactions. All Tune and Lube persistently tried makiing us purchase another store, yet we refused, after seeing how bad the economic conditions of several stores were. Their lies about their successful franchise are only misleading and illegal. These people need to be stopped and I would like to retreive my lost money. I am willing to join a law suit against them.
