Atlantic Plus Moving And Storage Inc Ripped me off misrepresented itself and the cost of the move and left damages to my furniture Passaic New Jersey
I am very disappointed that I never received a telephone call back Atlantic Plus Moving Company & Storage, Inc. about my trouble. I left several messages regarding my move to Bayonne from Jersey City, NJ. The following is my complaint with the move, as reflected below: -I was never advised that I would be charged $4.00 per roll of tape used by the movers to wrap my furniture. I was only told that blankets would be used to wrap my furniture which was included in the quoted price of $340.00 for the first 3.5 hours. -I was advised from the driver/mover that they would not assemble my bed frame back together because they did not disassemble it. I specifically asked this question and was there would be no problem for me to disassemble to save time for the movers. -Not only did the movers charge me for an extra hour of work but they took a 20 minute break on my dime. -They left greasy dirty marks from their grimey fingers on my walls and on my furniture. -Both of my 2 NEW ottoman's have been damaged by the movers greasy grimey finger prints that I can not get out still to this day ( a week after the move). -My box spring and mattress have greasy grimey finger prints AND I used mattress covers as per your advise. -There are two pieces of furniture that have knicks in the bottoms of them. One file cabinet and one book shelf. - The movers had very bad body odor and had filthy hands even before they started moving which should have been a good indication that I should have cancelled the move. -The mover Alex pressured me into giving him a good tip. He told me to give him $100 and I felt intimidated. -The quoted price was $340 and the actualy price for this move came to $600.00 I have not received any restitution for the above damages to my belongings.
