Atlas Consumer Cooperative Fingo Group, Inc. They took $500.00 from me they claim for membership I cancelled and the will not return it. Houston, Texas
I joined the Co. called the Fingo Group Inc.on 11/02/2010 to get help with my debt problem. On 12/02/2010 they removed $300.00 from my account to get started so I was told. After not hearing anything for two months I started calling to find out what had happened and what they were going to do. I was told everything was under control. I ask for a copy of the contract. And they took out $154.79 for which did receive back. And took $200.00 out of my account. At this point and time no negotiating had been done with my creditors. Finally I called again and got a customer service reptold her that it had been over two months and I had not received a copy of the contract.
She said would send a copy to me. I received the contract on 1/21/2011. I read it and would be paying them a fee of $4,685.68 for their services, now how can I pay my debts of $15,000 when I owe these people over four grand. Absolutely no one called or wrote to me explaining the program. I cancelled the program on 1/26/2011 as the contract read 10 days to cancel at any time. I have written the BBB and the Texas Attorney Generals office. And I still haven't received the $500.00 back. I feel that I have been ripped off and these people are getting away with robbery. Now I am 74 yrs old and live on a small fixed income. I really don't thing I will get my $500.00 back but stop this kind of thing happening to other unsuspecting Senior Citizens.
