Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I moved from San Antonio, TX to Miami FL.

Authorized Movers gave me my an estimate over the phone for $1700. I found this people on the internet and told me that they where the biggest moving company in the US. I gave them specifics of my move, so they knew my schedule was tight. They told me that everything was fine and that my furniture would be in great hands and taking care off.

A day before the shedule time for arrival I received a call from a girl telling me that if the movers could arrive a day early. I told her that I needed to stay at a hotel and if they would credit me the rooms for me and my familly it was ok for the movers to arrive one day early. She told me that it was fine and that they will credit me the hotel no problem. Freedom Van Lines arived to my house in a Rent a Truck with two people we no uniform or nothing looking lagit. I never contracted you guys for my move I told the driver. He told me that Authorized Movers contracted them to move my furniture to a warehouse in Dallas and then a 18 Wheeler will move my furniture and many others to their destination. I never agreed to this terms over the phone with Authorized Movers. But I did not have another option since the next day I had to catch a plane back to Miami. The movers arived at 8 pm and lest at 6 am. They had other furniture in the truck and they did not know how to pack anything. When they arrived to pickup my goods, they began with the extra charges for anything and everything. They got me for extra weight, tape, shuttle charge, and more. The movers did not care one bit about the condition of my goods. My estimate went from $1700 to $2600 after all the wheight and other charges for boxes that charge $40 a box!!!!!!. I had to agree to this since all my furniture was already on the truck and it was 6 in the morning. They promised my furniture to be delivered on July 29 since I had to reserved the elevator in my bulding.

A day before I call them to let them know if everything was ok and that they needed to be hear on time with my furniture. They told me that there will be a extra shuttle fee for $425 more since the 18 wheeler wont reach my building. I had to agree to this because they would not ship my furniture from dallas to Miami untill I gave another deposit. I waited all day on July 29 for my furniture to arive and nothing arived. I call the company and no one will give me any answers. The customer service in this two companies is the worse ever. They will hang up my calls and sometimes tell me that they will call me back and I will never get any calls. Issic supposed to be the manager and he did nothing to fix this problem. Days went by and no answere to where was my furniture or when would it arrive. I get a call on a saturday Agust 4 the driver calls me and ask me that monday they will arrived and I had to have the cash ready for him. I had to sleep on the floor for a week since this people did not keep their promise on the delivery date.

Monday comes and the people from another company arrive. They did not look like a moving company at all. They ask for the money up front before taking all the furniture out of the truck. I told them that I will not pay unless all my furniture was put in my house and no damage was found. They refuse to unload the furniture from the truck and threatend me with taking it to a storage untill I paid. I call Freedom Van Lines and I spoke with Isic and he refused to give me the amount paid of the hotel I stayed in San Antonio since they picked up my furniture a day before. He said that no credits will be adjusted and that I should not taken a verbal agreement over the phone. He told me that if I did not pay my furniture was going to be storage untill I did. I had no choice than to pay with a credit card and they made me fax them an agreement with my signature.

The nightmare had just began. The movers finally started to unload all my furniture from the rent a truck. These two people started to ask me for money and tip. I was furious since they made me carry all my furniture to my apartment. They told me that they needed to leave quick since the 18 wheeler was parked in a tow away zone. When they started to unload my furniture I saw that all my furniture was damage and destroyed. After making me help them move everything they told me that they forgot the tools to put my bed frames togeather and that they where sorry. The movers did not care about my furniture and told me to file a insurance claim to get my money back. I call Freedom Van Lines and they told me to call an insurance company that they are insured. I have send them all the paper work and pictures to the insurance company but they told me that it will take about 90 days to be resolve and I dont know what they are going to give me back?

Let's all get togeather and have legal action on this companies that need to be put out of business. If interested answer to my story and lets get in touch.

DO NOT believe ANYTHING this company tells you.

Freedom will appear to be a good ol company who provides a fair deal. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. Everyone at the company must be trained to lie and get money anyway they can. Once they have your business, the extra charges will not stop.
