So Autozone wronged you...sounds like Ford was the one who screwed you.. Too many times have I seen this. The customer comes in and gives too little info to the counter person and you get what you tell us. Then it does not work so you figure i'll get autozone to pay for my stupidity and take it to a dealership or high price repair shop. Get real people know what the hell you have before yhou come in and you will get the right price..and if the ford dealer knows that the alternators are defective the do a search and see if their is a tsb on that product because alternators are generally remans and should work to the oem specs. sounds like ford screwed you dude. Oh by the way i run an autozone commercial service and the local ford dealer buys quite a bit of parts from us.
