sad to say, but i am a member since 06, and just like the prior post, i can relate A LOT TO WHAT WAS SAID, but unllike the prior blogger, i never could cancle my membersh!t, woops i mean membership. Luckly this whole time my Ex bf has paid - so you can see why i wouldent really care. I know ricky worked the Mesquite GYM as an assistant i think... i know because i would look for the nicest newest club since most of them are dated. The turtle creek one... which by the way is not clean nor great... (the best feature is the outdoor cold pool with a "heater?!?") leaves me wondering, for being in such a nice up and comming area... why is it so dated and old? Hehehe, polishing poop dosent make it better nor a fresh 80's paint job make the place look better. ... regardless mesquite has a new manager isnt too busy about selling contracts because he is too busy flirting. lol. maybe ricky should try that... haha, skope out the guys there bud... hahaha. i am kidding. but really... lets not paint a pretty picture, truth teller, when all you have is yellow, baby blue and red. lol. hahaha, lets see once i get my JD if as a fun mass torts project i can see who wants to play class action. lol.

I have been a customer of Bally Total Fitness for many years (15 years) at this time. They do not allow people to sign contracts and then a few weeks, months, etc later decide they simply do not need it and have it go away. No company can do business in this manner. I read many postings on here from people who seem to think they can sign a contract and just walk away from it if they do not use it. Ballys is required to project gym usage, etc and can only do so taking into account that YOU may use the facility. It is YOUR fault if you sign a gym contract and then don't use it. I have known Ricky Christopher for many years. He is the manager of Ballys on McKinney Avenue in Dallas, Texas. This facility seems to need Ricky because it gets it to a good level and they transfer him elsewhere and then it goes downhill and Ricky is back to bring it up to level again. Overall this facility is very nice, clean and things are almost in good working order. This is not true when Ricky Christopher is not there. I have signed several contracts with Ricky Christopher both for myself and various family members and he has never (NEVER) pressured me nor lied to me in any form or fashion. When I read this very inappropriate posting I asked several people at the gym (the one mentioned above) about their experience with Ricky and heard nothing negative in any fashion and mostly praise. I spoke with both old-timers and those who have been members for a short time. In short, I truth Ricky and he has never let me know. I feel that the original poster someone who had to be disclipined in some manner. One expects adult behavior from members of a gym but that is not always the case and Ricky, as manager of the facility, must sometimes intervene. It could also be an angry former employee but whoever it is the original poster is very very far from an honest indivual. If the original poster is so lacking in intelligence that he allowed (from his own statement) someone to write down figures and then change them and then he signed a contact without confirming the content of it I would say he is of very low intelligence. The fact is that after years of dealing with Ricky Christopher I don't believe a word of the original posting. Good luck and keep up your workouts......
