My husband and I, due to the economy wanted to consolidate so we decided to trade in our 2 cars for one. I am out of work and 2 cars are not needed. We already own a 2008 Toyota Camry SE which is financed already through toyota financial services. We spent 8 hrs at this dealership. They told us everything was fine.
Our credit is not great but our scores are higher than they were last year when we purchased the other Toyota. I asked before signing if they could forsee a problem and I was told "no you are already with Toyota financial" I asked again if they were sure because I said I would like to wait. And again I got "no, no, no it'll be fine." I recieved a call from Toyota that our payment on the Camry was due and I told them we had traded it in for a new Rav 4 limited we were congratulated and she made note of the changes.
I also call Rick Sellers, Financial Services Manager at Beaman and told him we got a call from Toyota Financial and he said do not worry it is all taken care of. Two weeks went by and no calls so I figured all was good until I received a call on the Nissan we traded in with the Camry that the payment was late. I told them it had been traded in on March 17. I called Rick Sellers again and was told he did not know what was going on and would see what happend. The day goes on and I get a call about 4:30pm stating he could not find out anything and would call tomorrow.
My husband and I drove to the dealership the follwing morning and was told again I will let you know by the end of the day. NO PHONE CALL. So it is Easter weekend and I figure Ok no news is good news not so. Today April 14, 2009. My husband calls and demands an answer by the days end. We received a call from Chuck a manager and he tells me they cannot make it work.
I said to him "after 4 weeks of screwing with my credit, and not calling us to tell me there is any problem you want the car back?" He said there was nothing to be done. My sister who was a co owner of the Camry called for information and Chuck told her it was non of her "F$@*ing business" I called WSMV news to inform them. I will not allow this to happen to anyone else. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR AT BEAMAN. I should have just gone back to (((competitor's name redacted))) they care.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome. CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report. In this case we removed an alleged competitor's name
