Cypress, CA police officer you say?

I know nothing about this situation or people involved. I can say one thing for sure! If a Cypress police officer has any involvement then the best thing to do is post/remain anonymous. I have met over 25 cops who work for Cypress PD and only 2 of them are decent human beings. Good Cypress Cops: Lieutenant Birozy and Officer DeYoung Criminal Gangsters with Badges: Officers... AUSMUS, James Kyle III, Farris, Diaz, Mondon, Lieutenant Kepley, Sergeants Walquist, Rand, Bruce, Matthew Timney The thing is that the above named criminals operate under color of law with full consent and knowledge of the entire police department and city council. The City of Cypress is just a greedy 'real estate' hungry monster that has no problem walking on anyone or anything that gets in its way. A perfect example of this is Cottonwood Christian Center. "In the Cottonwood case in particular, that set of considerations wasn't really driving the situation, at least not in our view. Part of our evidence for that was, even during these difficult economic times, the city of Cypress has been running a surplus, so they're hardly strapped for cash. And when they cry poverty and claim that they need this particular property to generate revenues, it just lacks credibility on its face." AUTHOR'S NOTE: On February 20, 2003, the Cottonwood Christian Center agreed to sell the coveted 18 acres for $18 million and purchase 28 acres of the nearby Cypress Golf Course for about $17 million, where they will build their church. Once escrow closes on both land parcels, Cypress can proceed with its plans and Cottonwood will drop its religious DISCRIMINATION LAWSUIT.

Bert, I agree 100% with you on the anonymous complainer! Be a man, and tell everyone who you are. Also, as I stated before, if you were a danger to my children, then FYR as a 'youth organization' is required by law to report any inappropriate activities or concerns. The fines for not reporting are not huge, but someone needs to look out for our kids, and if our coaches know things about each other that they aren't willing to share, it should be brought to our attention.... but according to a reply I received in my personal email, my kids are 'no longer part of FYR', so nothing needs to be discussed with me. This is getting out of hand, and I'm getting more and more disgusted with FYR and wish they would just remember, we are talking about our kids here, and as a parent a generator means zilch to me. I want to know that an organization will do what I do in my job, and turn in the bad guys! Bert has the decency to be open and honest with us, and I am sick of this whole thing.

Has it not occurred to anyone that the person slinging mud is too coward to come out with a name. Of course I had some involvement in some of the things above. It is what they never bought was all the shelving, cabinets extension chords, side line barracades (that Ravi kept promising to purchase, but never did), shovels, roller tape (until mine broke, then I made them buy another for the club) and other things that were/are still in their possession. the omitted part is that three years past before it was sold, the club bought another replacement, and the generator in question worked only intermittedly. It also was leaking something and contaminated the food that FYR stored in the shed (which has got to be some kind of health violation). And, at the time that all this went down, I was in charge of all field operations, so it is not quite the way that it was written. And I wonder, since when is it a crime to blog about being sad or depressed? Is that not just part of a normal life cycle? Or are we supposed to pretend that we are happy all the time? As for the homeless thing, I did stay with friends for a few months, when my rent increased to more than my budget would allow until I could find a more affordable place, I am pretty sure that I never slept in a cardboard box in the alley. Although if I had, I would gladly make a movie out of it and get Will Smith to play me as a rugby player, that would be cool. The inappropriateness with female players thing bugs me because I talked to a (now) ex FYR player that claimed that Ravi was actually inappropriately involved in some of the more physical aspects of practices and she was uncomfortable with it. Shje was in no way implying that Ravi was deliberately being in appropriate, just that she was uncomfortable. I am sure if Ravi knew, he would be remorseful and appologize. Again, I would never assume that Ravi was a pedophile, I think that he is a decent husband and father. And I know that in his heart, he does not think of me as one, he is jsut hurt and angry. I do wish that he would be more careful with his words, but he is a grown man and if he wants to say things, then so be it. Anyways, this is taking too much effort. I wish that the parties involved with posting the original accusation would have understood that if their club was as solid as they pretend that it was, then it would not matter if I left or not, nobody would go with me. The fact that over 40 of it's teenage players have inquired about playing on the new club and the fact that the kids that left voted to call the new club the Mutineers speaks volumes about the state of FYR even before I left. Shoot, they are not just leaving to play for me, but several players and coaches left after the season to play for or start other clubs. It seems to me that FYR better stop complaining and start fixing itself before every one leaves. As I said before, I am grateful to Ravi for how far he brought us and what he has done in So Cal, but some of us want more. If he would have listened to our concerns, we all would have stayed. But in the long run, the existance of more clubs is better for rugby anyways. So come on, put this to rest and let us find a way to heal this pain you feel, I am sure that we could be allies in the cause of rugby domination...and if not, just put together a team that can put the mutes in their place, then we will show you grace even when we lose, a lesson that I am sure you could take something from. Writing my name in confidence,

Call this mud slinging if you will but consider for a moment that these are truths. Would Bert admit to these things if they were true? I don't think so. As far as being a good parent, that is not the issue. He may be a perfectly behaved father to his own children. That does not mean that he has not made highly inappropriate comments regarding young girls and been warned to keep his distance. As far as the stolen items go, maybe Bert was given an opportunity to NOT be prosecuted by the kindness of others. Maybe it was thought that out of shame and embarassment he would just fade away and get himself out of the hot seat and straighten his life out. In retrospect, FYR should have prosecuted Bert. They felt sorry for him because he was homeless at the time and struggling with his own demons it seemed. Some of the kids that have recently played rugby with Bert have said that he admitted some form of involvement with the generator so ask around and form your own opinion. Bert has two sides. The up or manic side and the down or depressed side. Ask him to repost the myspace blog when he was in one of these depressed states. I bet someone has a copy and it will surface soon. One could say that these two sides are on opposite sides of the world.. two seperate polar sides. Good luck and form your opinions around a little bit from what eveyone says. Don't make an opinion solely based on emotion.

If you had the guts to sign your claim, it would be a bit more credible, but we all have our suspicions of who you are. But why?? What exactly did Bert do to you? I have known Bert for 15 yrs, as a neighbor, and 5 yrs as a rugby mentor. He can be blunt, but SO WHAT!! The kids adore and respect him, and parents know where his heart is, so they will follow him. So was this all done out of jealousy, because parents and children have chosen to follow him, and now there isn't a high school team for FYR? IF there is any truth to your allegations, you should have called the police a long time ago, instead of waiting until he left and took the best players that FYR had. If you really thought he was a danger to the kids, shame on you for standing around and doing nothing about it!! I think this could be filed under the term 'slander' and you should watch what you accuse people of! If there was any inappropriate behavior going on, it was the fact that the parents paid the amount of money they did to be involved with FYR, and games were few and far between. So the 'ripoff' may have been the way someone was organizing the league.

Fullerton youth rugby has to look at itself before passing judgement

As a former player of the Fullerton Youth Rugby organization, I can personally vouch that despite that clubs deterioration into what is essentially a sham, Bert always remained professional. I never once in my 4 years of knowing him, saw him behave inappropriately with an female players. Despite my departure from the club several years ago, Bert and myself remained friends. I know for a fact that the story of the aformentioned generator was requested to be sold by fullerton youth rugby and the money was then returned the organization. Fullerton youth rugby needs to look at its own internal problems. There is a reason that the club feels that they need to defame the name of this man, and there is a reason that MOST fullerton youth players are leaving that club to play for Bert. The fact of the matter is that Bert was the only competent coach at Fullerton youth, and that program has reacted in an extremely juevenille way by attempting to slander the name of a truly good man.

I think this whole thing is really sad. Bert Moeller is a wonderful father, friend, and human being. The amount of time, and energy, he has given to benefit our children is incredible. These accusations towards him are sickening, and untrue. I feel that whoever is involved in spewing these lies needs to reevaluate what rugby, and mentoring, are all about. As far as what has been said about Bert being a danger to our children... shame on you. I have known him for years, and have so much respect for his parenting and life choices. Those accusations of improper conduct with female players carries with it an intense responsibility. I only hope that you are able to sleep knowing that you have said those things out of immaturity, jealousy, and spite. They are malicious, and show only a lack of good character on YOUR part. Addressing what I do not have first-hand knowledge of... if you feel that Bert has stolen property or funds from the organization that he helped create and run, you should take legal action. The fact that you have NOT, only suggests further that you stand purely on hate, not truth. Using the internet as a tool to slander him is childish. I think that ALL involved in this have completely lost sight of what is important... OUR CHILDREN! It is our job to be showing these kids what it means to be decent, strong, dedicated humans. Now they are caught in the middle of these battling organizations. How sad that next year they will have to chose between coaches and friends that they love and admire. The teams that they have built such strong relationships with will be torn apart. I wonder if you think it is worth it? I wonder if you realize the effect your bitterness is having on our kids? We should all take a step back, and reevaluate our personal responsibilities as parents. We are all human. We all lose our way. Let's find our way back. No more lies and bitterness.

Fullerton Youth Rugby Lions staffs are liars.

If what they said about Bert Moeller was true, then Bert would be in jail by now. FYR Lions has four cops working as its staff and it does not make any sense that they have not done something about it yet. If they are letting this happen, then obviously American justice system has failed. I don't think that is the reason though. I believe that the Lions are jealous that every, if not most, players are departing the club to play for Bert's new club. Yes, Bert does not have a field, sponser nor a city to play in/for but players have already made their commitment to play for Bert. Children/ Teens wants to play for him and Bert is not breaking up the team that was once built in Lions. In fact, everyone from the Lions have decided to play for Bert on their own. If Bert really is a theif and a pedophile, I'm sure that none of these players would have decided to play for him. Why? Because they would know. Many of the players go to same schools and are friends. There is no way they would not have shared something like that whether it was spoken during a serious conversation or just a murmur under a breath. The fact that Bert has more players to play for him during the summer 7's rugby tournaments than the Lions does (they couldn't fill 12 people roster to play) shows that he is a good person and a good coach. I also believe that with Bert establishing a rugby club in wherever city he builds one, it will help the city in many ways. It will introduce a new game (not many people really knows/understands rugby) of rugby to many, it will keep those of who decides to play in very healthy shape (as long as they really try and wants to play) and since rugby is big in many other countries outside of U.S., it would give more chance for people to get familiar with other cultures around the world in a sense.

The Internet can be used to do great things, but its power can also be used in ugly and hateful ways. As for my part, I will say this: I was involved with Fullerton Youth Rugby for over five years and I have great memories of some very wonderful things that were accomplished there. With Ravi Pererra's direction and vision and my willingness to do what ever he asked, we came a long way in those five years and I will always be thankful to him for getting me involved in this sport, which I truly love. In those five years, I served as field manager, assistant coach and head on several championship teams as well as being a board member for most of that time. As for the accusations listed above let me say this: It is FYR policy that back ground checks be preformed on ALL volenteers so that issues like this do not arise. In addition, there are several law enforcement officers that are or have been invloved with FYR over the years as either coaches, parents advisory board members and even Ravi, the club director is a Cypress, Ca. police officer. If any of the above were true then I would have been banned from FYR long ago and if the allegations of inappropriate behavior were true then you can bet that you would be able to find my name on a sex offender site. There would be no choice, the board would have had to try to convict me to protect not only the club but also the kids inside the club. As it stands, I have no criminal record so it will be really hard for the person who posted this to prove any of it to be valid. You would think that if there were that much criminal activity going around with all those law enforcement officers present, there would be a trail of at least something substantial listed above instead of here say. In conclusion let me say this: I really do not believe that this was posted by Ravi. Although he is hurt over some of the FYR players leaving with me, he is, I believe, a good man. Unfortunately, he has been taken in by an individual that has less than high standards of conduct and even less personal hygeine. I weep for his children (who are really cool, by the way). Believe this posting if you must, I would rather believe the cover stories found on the Weekly World News, at least they are about famous people, and bat boy... Thank you for reading, Bert
