Beta Finance Company Fees rip off Crown Point Indiana
I've had no complaints about Direct Buy, but their finance arm, Beta Finance is a rip off. I got my first monthly statement from them no more than 2 days before the due date of the bill, and the only way to pay it was by cheque mailed to their Indiana P.O. Box (from my home in Canada). I wrote a cheque and mailed it within a few days of receiving the bill, and next month, I was hit with a $5 "late fee", even though there was no way I could possibly have paid the bill on time.
Worse still when i called to demand a reversal of the charge, they refused and were rude to me. This is no way to do business. Whatever you may think of Direct Buy, this obnoxious behavior from their financing subsidiary is unacceptable.
