Yes, the rebuttal was filled with grammatical errors, but more important, the issue never was resolved. I reported this to the BBB, Bidz responded requesting the original email offering the $25.00 Gift Certificate, which I promptly forwarded to them. I never heard back from that email and still see the same deal advertised on various websites.

As of Dec. 21, 2005, linkshare.com (the affiliate program Bidz uses) listed the $50 gift certificate text link. Before blaming over-eager affiliates Steve might want to take a look at his own backdoor. If the link is indeed expired there is no way for an affiliate or a customer to know. I have no issue with Bidz, other than an inability to correctly spell "abillities," but I do want to point out an obvious faux pas in their rebuttal. :Quote: Dear Consumers, I have seen many complaints regarding our GIFT CERTIFICATES on Bidz.com - I feel that we should be able to defend these incorrect claims. All of our Gift Certificates expired on October 31, 2005,However,we do have affiliates that have failed to remove links after being requested to do so. We are doing everything we can to have these links removed. Unfortunately, the internet is vast - and upon entering in a search engine - it can exist for quite awhile. We do apologize for this and try to explain this to our customers to the best of our abillities. Steve - Culver City, California U.S.A. :endquote:
