Biomet EBI Bone Healing Device ripoff Philadelphia Pennsylvania
On 6/16/09 I get a bill for their EMI bone healing device in the amount of $5,270 - they "reduced" it doen to $3,256.27 and my insurance (Oxford) paid $1,500. Biomet now wants $513.73 from me!
The salesman who instructed me on the system told me the insurance would cover it - they just "had to put it through 2 or 3 times" to get them to do it.
One look at the device and you can see it probably cost about $50 to put together and they are charging $5,270???
Instead I get this bill just 2 days ago (already marked "31-60 days past due" - another rip off lie).
