Mr. Lvparamedic,
I must first apologize for coming late to this party. I just recently found your post and after researching this information I believe that you are confusing us with another shop down the street that does similar work as us or this is a fraudulent post.
You mention a price of $89.99 for both front and rear brakes. I have never advertised a price for both front and rear together. (The shop down the street does and yes that is their price give or take a few cents.) You also mention that price included machining rotors if needed. (That is included every brake job we do and it again is not advertised as a only if it is needed or not). Calipers are something that we sell very few of, yes occasionally some go bad but not that many here in Las Vegas, and yes when they are bad we recommend them. (Down the street they are recommended on almost every vehicle, that is how they are trained, and that is how they make up for the $89.00 price tag). That is precisely why I don't advertise that way, because I don't want to treat my customers like that.
Just to satisfy my belief of the confusion I checked my records. Checking for both invoicing or estimates in our computer as well as our hard copies or original files for at least a month prior to your visit. I found no evidence of looking at, inspecting, or estimating a Mazda 6, 2004 or otherwise. I have no other way to look it up but by vehicle because you have never contacted us either.
If you still feel that this could be one of my shops give us a call I would be more than happy to discuss any of this with you.
