I had sent this rotten builder a certified letter to the address listed on netscapes yellow pages. Low and behold it was returned Not addressee. I called the phone company and what do you know they gave me the correct address. So I sent another certified letter to him, marking it copy, and letting him know he wass posting the wrong address. This was done on 8/3/01, he just picked it up yesterday 8/21. This guy has completely ignored our punchlist. However I did receive a voice mail from him yesterday morning saying he had just picked up my letter and in a few days he will be sending me one. (Sure) Then he had the nerve to ask for a copy of the plan I claimed to have. If he would read the punchlist it states Buyers are requsting a set of plans because the inner wall demensions are not what is represented on the spec sheet. (This shows the layout of the house including inner demensions the we we should of gotten) Also the plumbing is not to code and is listed on the punchlist. I had noted that a state health offical was out to the house on 7/10. This jerk asked me for a copy of the report! I said nothing about a report on the punchlist. Can this guy read at all??? If this guy thinks I'm going to supply him with any information at all he's lost his mind. If he can't remember how and what he put in my house that is his problem not mine. I'm getting more than just ticked off here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If any of you are seeking legal counsel in this state, may I say good luck! Finding a lawyer without having to pay up front fees is unbelievable, most of them want there cut first and then we are told you have a 50-50 chance......Just what I want to here. As a sudgestion find a law firm-well know that can practice law in this state. If we get enough big out of state law firm coming in and helping us maybe the lax laws in the state of Oklahoma will be changed. Maybe if enough of these builders get there just reward and if we push for it we all can make this happen!

I had Failed to mention: When my husband and I requested a set of plans to the house rhey all came up missing. I called the county office LOGAN COUNTY, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, I was told "these plans are what I call out in limbo-land and I'm sure we don't have them. They don't have to be filed with the county because the property is outside the city limits. A building permit does not even have to be filed" I was floored to say the least. I asked about code inspections, and once again because the property is outside the city limits no inspections are done at all during construction. They don't even have a county inspector---WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY PROERTY TAXES TO LOGAN COUNTY! Upset does not even come close to the way I felt and still do. Maybe this can account for our neighbors house sinking on one side. The property was grated so the rain water from the surrounding properties would run to theirs, causing the foundation to be undermine with water running into the floor vents. In the winter months they have frost on there windors in the master bedroom. They to never had there HVAC system balanced. BST Construction told them "He was done with the property" When can someone be held accountable without us going through HELL!
