Complaint Review: Calvin Clark - Tupper Lake - Tupper Lake(I call it F ...er Lake) New York

Ive been reading the things that people have wrote about our TLFD and yes if my home burt i would defenitly count on them to come, but the firemen are mostly all drunks. I know someone who had a fire a few years ago and all of the firemen came to their home drunk out of their minds It was christmas eve and they did worse damage to there home then the fire did. Calvin Clark is the biggest idiot that I have ever met that man is a lying, stealing scum bag. He stole money from the fire dpt. before and has already been thrown from his possition as chief. Calvin is an a*s hole he has grudges about people and says s**t about people behind there backs then the s**t he says gets around and gets other people in troube CALVIN IS A F- ING SCUM BUCKET!

The Tupper Lake Fire Dept has been around for a long time, and I myself have had many family members who devoted there time to help protect this town when an emergency occurs...I have been to alot of the fires over the past years!!..and I myself have never seen one single member drunk.. As has the other person who replied to this...I do not see what your big problem is with the fire dept, for one they are volunteers...they get out of bed at 4 in the morning when it is 20 below zero to save a strangers life, or home.. I mean come on...what is more dedicated than that..and as far as Mr clark...I find that he is a very good man..yeah so he drives a little to fast, get over it..he leads these men and they all look up to him, he is very knowledgable in most of all aspects of firefighting..and I would trust him as my leader..obviousely they do if they voted him in...so you people need to sit back and think about this when your house is in flames...or your pinned in a wrecked car at 3 in the morning and they all come to help you..

I wanted to say a few things about our fire department. You've left an impression that they're nothing but drunks and corrupt. First of all, I have NEVER seen any of them drunk at a fire. Yes, I have seen them drink at parties (don't most people?), and

I don't go to all the fires, but I have been at quite a few and I'll tell you what I have seen. I've seen these men stand in freezing cold weather for hours on end, oftentimes with
ice on their beards and moustaches,but not giving up. I

saw the look of despair on their faces after one fire where they finally got in a burning house only to discover that the mother and children had made it all the way to the front door, then lost the fight there.

These are volunteers, and they live with memories like that! I attended a fundraiser for the daughter of one of the fireman and watched each one donate his prize money to her if he won something.

I've seen alot to admire in these men and I know that if we're ever unfortunate enough to have a fire, we can depend on them to do everything they can to save our lives and our home.

I don't know all the facts about the other issues brought up, so I don't feel qualified to give an opinion, but I had to say something in defense of our fireman. Thank you.
