I first went to Ron's store as a college student at the University of Alabama to take some viruses off my desktop. He did. I paid. End of story.
Because I remember this process being so quick and painless, I went back to him for a problem I was having with my laptop a few years later. My disk drive broke on my TOSHIBA, so when I took a trip to Tuscaloosa, I brought my laptop to him hoping I could get that same quick service again.
I was SO wrong!
I brought him the laptop and he said it may be too expensive to fix the disk drive, so he told me about trading my laptop in for an HP that he was re-building/fixing. I wanted an upgrade, so I thought it was a great idea. My friend was with me. Checked the laptop out, we all agreed on trading the laptop! I gave Ron my money. He took my new mailing info, said that he would transfer all of my hard drive info to the new computer and mail me everything within a week. This was around the second week of November 2009....
...it is now July 20th, 2010 and I still don't have the laptop I paid for.
To make a ridiculous, horrible, long story short, I have had to listen to Ron's lies about why I never got my correct laptop. (I didn't mention that he did mail me a laptop. The same laptop I brought to him in Tuscaloosa. Disk drive still broken and he installed a counterfeit WINDOWS 7.) Whether he's blaming it on his ex-fiance's father being in the hospital, his father having the laptop in Birmingham, flooding in his store, going out of town or any other bogus excuse, he will find any way to get out of hot water with me. He has gone so far as to give me fake confirmation numbers from USPS, FedEx, or UPS. He has caused me so much grief and aggravated me beyond belief!!! He is a liar, and reading reports from this website and several others including the BBC, many people have been taken for a ride just like I was. He needs to be reported and have his business shut down! Do not take your computers, money or business there!!!!!!!!! He cannot be trusted in any way, shape or form!
