I asked Capitol one to help me thru a difficult time by making some type of arrangement on 2 accounts. They connected me to their "hardship department", where rep offered me a "skip payment" option for a month. When I received the bill 2 months later, they added overlimit & late payment fees. I had numerous conversations with them. During several of these, they advised me there was no such thing as a "hardship department" ad no one was authorized to defer payments. My less than $500 account ended up to almost $1000. It's been in default for months now. I simply cant pay them. They have not one but 2 collection agencies contacting (harassing) me at my job. What happens if I just don't pay them????
