We just returned from a Carnival cruise to the Mexican Riviera. For starters to big slide was not in operation. My friend had been on the same ship in May and it was broken then. So I called a week prior to our departure and Carnival said it was working. I had a very disappointed 13 year old. Next we booked our shore excursions through Carnival because they reccomended this. They warned against booking with someone other than them in the event a problem should occur. Well a problem occured and they were less than helpful. My daughter cut her leg during our excursion to Paradise Resort. I could not even get a band aid. They served alchoholic drinks to my 13 year old and my two 16 year olds, even though they asked for Virgin drinks. This happened 2 times. I notified the Pursers desk and asked to be refunded the 180.00 dollars for the excursion from hell. They said they would take care of it by sending a letter to the tour company telling them of my experience. Big help.

The beds were cots (literally)cots. We looked at them and to our surprise the were just like a cot from a hotel. The food was repetetive and gross! Won't go again. $10,000. bad vacation! I should have departed in Cabo San Lucas while I had the chance. But, Carnival would not help me find a room to stay in.

Learn from my mistake!
