Complaint Review: Carnmoney Poodle Owner Colleen DuBerger Aka Thea Collette Newton Aka Sarah - Calgary Alberta

 Yes, her and her husband operate a painting company out of High River, Alberta and more recently have been pulling insurance and condo assessment scams in the Calgary area wherever they happen to buy a condo unit. First she gets onto the board and then using scare tactics to convince the condo owners that their building is in dire needs of immediate repairs then collects the money, hires family related contractors to perform the work, and leaves the building with ever increasing problems because the work is usually poorly done, goes way over costs and the original quotes are already over priced.

Does anybody know what these so called Dubergers do? Colleen in particular, they seem to have the same addresses for the same businesses I had a business transaction with them and it seems like they ripped me off.......

I had to write this comment because I was really upset to see these claims. I am a very happy
customer of Carnmoney poodles.

We've purchased two poodles from Carnmoney Poodles, the first one in 2005 and the second one
in 2010. We were very impressed with Colleen DuBerger because she questioned us a lot before selling
us a puppy because she truly cares about her dogs and wants to make sure that her dogs will get a good new home.

The kennel is always really clean. I know what I'm talking about because we have previously owned poodles in another province and none of the other poodle kennels have been so well taken care of, spacious and
professionally run.

In my opinion, dogs are sold and given away sometimes way too easily. Dogs are living and feeling
beings and deserve the best care and attention. 

For some reason we often forget that good feedback is really important because only one bad
comment can do a big damage. I'd recommend Carnmoney poodles to everyone who wants to get a 
healthy and happy toy poodle. 

Colleen duBerger has no akas, simply a maiden name and a friend trying to resolve an issue. There are no phony business locations only multiple addresses. There are no numerous complaints, only two people with no integrity trying to fight dirty (contacting rip off report with a fake problem, contacting bylaw officers, the RCMP, the SPCA, the BBB anything they can do that will cause problems for our kennel) because they were upset with the terms and conditions of sale. In the case referred to above, (not receiving the dog) the money was returned and Colleen kept the dog, but two suitable replacements were offered. In the other case referred to above(lying about the dog's age parents and birthdates) The buyer was confused about which puppy she was talking about, there was more than one, and the costumer has proved over and over that she only hears what she wants to hear. All documentation was provided as per American Kennel Club Bylaws. The 1-800 number is to make it easier for clients to reach her. The agency investigating us (The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty for Animals) gave us a surprise visit yesterday and told us that our kennels and dogs were in excellent condition (even though we were not ready for them and had not even cleaned up yet) and that they had obviously received a false complaint. Ms Wray got a call from the SPCA by Constable Nolan Payne, telling her that our kennels were in excellent condition and that all dogs were healthy and well looked after. Mr. Ted Wray then contacted the RCMP, a Constable Taylor, claiming that we were impersonating an officer. Unbeknownst to her and her husband, our kennel had been approved by the SPCA that she reported us to. It is important to note that Constable Payne did not proved us with her name; in fact, we knew this could only be one person. We gave him her information. Surprise surprise who strikes again? The RCMP will be placing legal charges if this does not stop; it is unlawful to file a false or unfounded claim. As was told. This is not Carnmoneys communication, but the authorities Ms Wray. Further to this, the RCMP Contact High River Constable Taylor has contacted Ms Wray and will be placing charges(note the RCMP, not Carnmoney Poodles) if this harassment does not stop. It is interesting to note that the time and energy and government resources could have been used to save animals lives not create havoc in a well run kennel. This individual has no scruples. Contacts our home at 11 pm at night and appears to have excessive time on her hands. Do you have the time to devote to contact kennels spanning the US and Canada.Apparantly, both individuals do. It is also important to note that all legal requirements have been met. As per the contract signed by all parties that actually had one. In addition. Several affidavits from non related individuals have been notarized . Marie Lipps also agreed contact her lawyer to cease and desist as was requested by her attorney's office. In addition I have seen documentation from said office in Winnipeg stating that no further harassment would be carried out as money was received within one week of request.(I was here,Ms duBerger was tending to matters in the US.I explained SEVERAL times that Ms duBerger could not forward pedigrees as she was on a website address not her home computer.AH YES these individuals hear what they want and only that It is again important to note that Marie Lipps was offered a poodle from Velvet Touch Kennels worth $3500.00 US. It is unfortunate that these individuals are selfish, self-serving people. I further told Ms Lipps personal information regarding my employer BIG MISTAKE. Colleen was receiving treatment for a double transplant, which still did not produce compassion or real expectations. I invite you to meet her judge for yourself or better yet talk to someone who actually has had a business transaction with this company. Further to that, we have never met an Irene nor dealt with an Irene, and this is most likely akas Marie Lipps or Ms Wray. As is true with other Agencies that this buyer has tried to cause problems with, the reports turn out to be false. Please check our website for updates soon with documentation from the SPCA and Authorities that have been contacted with proof that our kennel is a safe and healthy approved breeding environment to raise puppies. In addition, such allegations and defamation of Carnmoneys establishment is laughable we invite you to look for veterinarian certification of heath, practices and kennel maintenance. From not one but three veterinarians. READER BEWARE! THE PEOPLE FILEING THIS REPORT ARE DOING EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO SHUT OUR KENNEL DOWN EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE FOLLOWED THROUGH OUR END OF THE CONTRACT...
