Castillo Carpet Cleaning in San Luis Obispo is using Yelp and Google for fake reviews to promote more business.
These guys are using customers on Yelp by giving these discounts for a 5 star review or encouraging happy customers to leave a review. It’s how they operate and Yelp is how they are winning their business on this fake misrepresentation to generate income. When you have customers that are being flagged (for a truthful review or negative) and filtered because Yelp isn’t doing their part of alerting a “Consumer Alert” on a business operating which Yelp stated in 2012 that is would post a 6 month warning notice of a Consumer Alert business reviews that are fake, paid for or discounted for leaving reviews for a business. Even the owner Luis Castillo has left his own name by accident also and didn’t realize his 5 star review filtered several times in one day or etc, it was like hello, we see your posting fake reviews yourself and even relative or family members writing reviews for Castillo’s carpet cleaning. Is that fair? What about the customer? Should they be warned or have them run into the problem or buy the bait of fake information?
Castillo’s Carpet cleaning is not only generating a false business plan but they are also doing the same on Google and other directories because fake reviews are similar in wording or one review on one account or reviews on customers that are leaving reviews from cities everywhere and etc.
I am sure Castillo’s are decent people and they work but yes they have had problems with their carpet cleaning business that I have heard of. Working away from contact jobs or taking food or stealing things, illegal immigrants or doing the work too fast and etc. If customers have mentioned it, it still should be something to know about as well.
The point is Castillo’s Carpet Cleaning should be cautioned as a carpet cleaner in San Luis Obispo County, they are on a mission for cheap fast cleaning on a business that isn’t regulated in the state of California; it’s just a fictitious business license, that’s all. There is no such thing as professional or carpet cleaning company that is professional as there is no specific license for that business to verify their work is of an operation level recognized by a regulatory agency, there isn’t. It is only a fictitious business; they have no guidelines other than paying taxes, insuring their vehicle and renewing their fictitious business license every 5 years. Sure maybe workmen’s comp or etc but basically it’s not a professional business that can be classed as professional other than saying their professional by experience not by regulation.
So please be informed on these fake reviews with this company. Don’t be sold on fake information and if you have done business with them and they did a good job, ok sure post if you want a 5 star review but not if they offer you a discount and go ahead, what does that say to the next person or etc people? Business is business and the internet can be taken for granted and it’s sad also.
