CD City charged me twice for one item purchased on ebay. Further, i contacted them re the double charge and they said that thay would refund me for one of the double charges. A few weeks later CDCity did refund me for one of the double charges, but they then proceeded to bill me again for the third time. That's right, CDCity billed me for the third time, for the same item, all within minutes of refunding me! Did they think i wouldn't see the extra transaction (stupid yankee)?
CDCity management passed the buck to their incompetent CDCity employed accountant (or money/transactions handler James), who now refuses to respond to my emails requesting a refund!
Be very careful if you are desperate enough to deal with this store (especially on-line). CDCity are retailers who are unable to hold themselves accountable for their mistakes, and then pretend that they never happened. Further CDCity have proven to hold little regard for customer/consumer rights and display very little ethical morality.
I have emailed CDCity re this report and offered them a chance to make a reply to my comments... lets see if they do so... or will they continue to hide behind the computer and refuse to answer my e-mails requesting a due refund?
