Every year 25.00 is deducted additionally from EVERY member. That is their excuse for every August, when hundreds of members have to pay not only the additional 25.00 fee with their monthly dues, but are also responsible for their overwithdraw fee from the bank!

This is on the contract, but, it is not brought to your attention when you sign up. Or ever. One day you just get billed!

They claim it's a 'club enhancement fee' and that they use it to upkeep the facility--which is far from upkept.

Unsanitary conditions resulting in but not limited to: Staph infections, spreading of ring worm, and every possible flu and stomach bug around plague the gym and its members. The sinks are often broken, and the toilets are always clogged. They mop the floors with dirty water, and provide only a very, very diluted cleaning agent to clean the machines when you're finished with them.

There are holes in the padding that has been eaten away from years of hair gel and products. The floors are uneven and the carpets are all torn. There's never parking, and the handicap spots are always filled with non-handicapped members.

Very unsatisfactory for many people who I assume only stay there because it's conveniently located, and I myself am never going to step foot into this facility again, especially if each member pays a "club enhancement fee" and the abandoned building down the street from me is equally as clean and upkept as this club!

The owner constantly runs promotions with more fine print than the actual promotion itself!

Every four years this club runs a 100.00 a year promotion. With fine print, after you're there, it's actually 150. Regardless, this brings in the classiest of vagrants and neandrathals that aren't used to the club environment. This adds to the social scene to include people spitting on the floor, urinating on the mens room floor, putting gum on the machines and food, wearing muddy work boots into the facility, NEVER cleaning equipment, large bugs crawling around, and maybe one of the best parts -- PERMANENTLY BROKEN EQUIPMENT!

Some of this equipment has been broken since I got my membership there, a rip off two years ago. The sink in the ladies room has been for at least that long! Out of 30 pieces of cardio equipment, only 11 work, and 5 of those are bikes, which aren't even good for cardiovascular fitness as you advance.

The barbells are bent, and the poorly welded together dumbbells are falling apart. The cables are freyed on machines and the ripped pads allow enough sweat and germs to be collected to house any disease.

The windows are covered with a perimeter of an interesting mold which is surely not good to breathe in. THANKFULLY ENOUGH, the biggest mold balls are in the GROUP FITNESS AREA where all of the classes take place!

It seems like they're always losing employees, aerobics instructors and babysitters. Now they only have sitting from 6-8 three days a week!

No morning classes.

Employees are less than knowledgeable and I question whether or not any of them even workout themselves.

The owner does nutritional programs--and he's famous for inventing, YES INVENTING facts about things that are complete nonsense, and then putting you on a diet to starve you--all while maintaining some kind of semblance of life on a huge pile of supplements and his "personal" blend of protein powder.

Conviently, he also promotes "natural bodybuiding" shows. This is a laugh itself, since being taken out of the event is up to the discretion of the promotor, and this guy will never refuse money, any time. Even if it means ruining competition for the rest of the people! He has a near monopoly on the shows in this area as well.

Almost every competitor I've talked to after doing a show myself there, and being starved, and treated poorly, they've all quickly jumped on the bandwagon of reasons why his shows are bad and they'd rather not do another show ever again with that organization and have since tried MuscleMania and NGA! It's even better that he's consistantly raised the prices for his shows, lost vendors every year, and still has managed to put on some type of sales attempt/circus act before the finals every year! This year I refuse to even go to see his show. This man is out of control.

All of the free samples from who knows where? He sells them. This is interesting because the shirts he gets for FREE from bodybuilding.com are sold both at the shows and as his facility. The reason the gym is a piece of crap? The owner is cheap, and always pawning his wares on you. Anywhere from miracle juice that takes away your arthritis, belly fat and makes you stop, restart, and then stop smoking again to Praas jelly tonic made from an indian woman in Pittsburgh, guaranteed to help you from ever getting sick and get your abs in.

Do NOT waste your money or your time with either his bodybuilding organization or his "health club".
