Charter Bus R Us is a Fraud.  I have listed below a bunch of reviews

from upset clients.


1. Ok so i called this company to book a bus. It was a huge job that involved a lot of money. I was going to FL from MD and they charged me 7,250.00 which was good the best price i had gotten. So i booked it. Day of service came and the bus never showed. I called them for an hour straight finally Leo picked up the phone and gave me a bs story saying i had a blance of 2500 left. So i got angry. I cancelled the bus trip and then later i went to Charter Bus R us to collect my money that was owed to me. I met LEO and BANA inperson. I have no idea how these uneducated idiots runa business. Leo cant speak engilsh if his life depeneded on it. And makes no sence when he is talking. And he dresses like he is in the wrong decade. Stupid

2.Church trip planned for Sight and Sound Theater in May 2011.  Contracted with Charter Bus R Us.  Paid deposit of $275 via pay pal in accordance with the contract.  The night before around 9:35p.m. I received an email stating my contract was cancelled because full payment have not been made.

Prior to all of this - I discussed our trip with George and he told me (in writing) I could pay the day of the trip if I'm paying the balance in cash.  I told him this is what we will do.  Not thinking any more about it - we had 47 people ready for the trip.

When I received this email, I called the office and spoke with Leo (a man whose promises doesn't mean nothing).  He told me the reason it was canceled, I told him what George had told me about paying the day of, Leo said he had no record of it.  I got frantic. What was I to do now?  Leo offered to help get another bus for me - but failed to do so.  The company he referred us to only had one bus operational and the other was broken. 

Needless to say - I started calling on the Monday after our trip for a refund.  Promises from George and from Leo - and to this date - I have nothing.  All the promises - were broken. 

I consulted my attorney - and now we are in the process of taking this to court.  Not being mean - I simply wanted my deposit back.  Now instead of the $275, I stand to gain more than $3500.  Attorney fees, court cost, lost wages, etc... IF ONLY HE HAD REFUNDED MY $275. 

I tried to work this out - waited 2 months - sent them my pay pal account - and NOTHING.  Now it's a decision of the judge.

WHY LEO - Why did you lie to me?

3.Very unreliable and unprofessional, Unreliable for: Timeliness more than 1+ hours late on both accounts of to and from destination. unprofessionalism for: refusal to return our requests for pro-rated discount no follow up to our calls promising one type of bus and delivering a different bus. More details if your interested why: Used the services in April 16 and 17th of 2011. We used their services to plan a trip from washington DC to Ocean City for about 50 people. Used two mid sized busses that were promised, but never received, busses to have certain amenities such as TVs with DVD players and trunk storage for our luggage. We were charged the wrong price and wasn't fixed until we called and had to explain that our deposit wasn't being applied to the total charge. The busses were late in arriving for departure at origin and destination by more than an hour (from washington D.C. they were more than an hour and forty-five!). When calling our point of contact with Charter Bus R Us she had no idea that we had these problems. Let me be clear I'm no blaming her for these issues mistakes happen and we're reasonable people. HOWEVER I do place blame on their lack of professionalism for refusing to get back with us about these problems. I strongly disagree that the company can stipulate in their contract that they can charge us more money for being more than 30 min late but they ignore the customer if their late by three times that!? We have called several times to talk to someone about pro-rated our final payment but have had no luck. FINAL POINT: I HIGHLY ADVISE USING THIS ORGANIZATION AT ALL COSTS! DON'T BE TEMPTED BY PRICE, ITS NOT WORTH IT. As an individual in customer service work, I can understand problems that can occur, its unavoidable. But it is the steps taken by the organization to remedy that problem that is a reflection of the integrity and credibility of the company. A once reasonable customer, now extremely dissatisfied and frustrated, A resident of Washington, D.C
