Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This vet clinic has been the closest vet clinic and the most convenient since my husband and I both work 8am.- 6pm. We never thought we would ever have to use them, but unfortunately we did. Went to the emergency vet on a wed., while there our bill (for a urinary blockage on a cat) totaled to about $537.00 (it was originally right at $1000). then while crying in the parking lot worrying about how I'm going to save my cat (who's been with us for 6 years), my dad graciously helps me with the money. Then, while trying to use his credit card she tells me i have to have him fax things to her. well, again here's that unfortunate thing, he's a truck driver and happened to be in CA at the time. no where near a fax machine. so now i get talked to like i'm the bane of someone's exhistence when she has to call the attending vet for permission for an over the phone payment. the next morning we had to transport him to our normal vet with a catheter and an IV still in him (but while at the vet clinic the IV was not hooked up to anything). We were told he would just need to be watched and for the other vet to remove the catheter. we picked up our cat from our normal vet (the following sat.) and was told everything was fine to give him the new special diet and the antibiotics (another $240.00)... now, here it is mon. and my cat is behaving like he has another blockage that the emergency clinic said that they removed!! so, now that i read some of the other reviews (from a Google search) and it makes me wonder if they did anything at all or just stole my money. Now, when my husband calls them they say that the bladder can "re-block". In four and a half days?!?!?!?!?! I cannot afford another $500, but that's what it looks like i'm going to be spending anyway. Maybe they were upset that I didn't jump up and pay the $1000 in the first place. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am familiar with most of it, but not if it's common for it to reoccur that quickly, or what they actually did that night. Your regular vet may have the records, if not, they can call them and request to have them faxed, and you should even be able to go get the copies. Talk to your regular vet about it, make sure you have your reciept for comparison, and see if they think there's any possibility that the ER should have this case reviewed by the Georgia Board of Veterinarians. If they do, they should be able to walk you through it from there.
