If I were you I would check to find out where the parts were made and where the materials came from before you stand by your products.

Malibu's and grandam's are good cars. However if you drive them hard you will have to replace the brakes quite often, approx %90 of the braking is done on the ft of those cars. I am ASE certified and 25 yrs experience in auto repair and almost everytime we see a compliant about brake life its contributed to the driver and the way the car is driven. The N body GM cars are the worst on front brakes if driven hard. Also on the in tank fuel pumps if you let the gas level drop below 1/4 tank the pump is exposed to air and will run a lot hotter than it will submerged in fuel and also if you run the tank really low on gas any trash in the bottom of the tank can be sucked into the pump locking it up. If you keep over 1/4 tank of fuel in the car at all times and change the fuel filter every 20k miles or so the pumps will last well over 100,000 miles. If people would drive normally and follow the recommended maintance schedule they would have very few repair issues

In the past few years I have bought 3 new Chevys for my family. 1 2001 & 1 2002 Malibu and a 2002 Cavalier. The 2001 had multiple computer problems. Both 2002 cars have given us no problems at all.
