Chizek Transport totally rips-off their owner operators Cleveland Wisconsin
I would just like to inform truck drivers everywhere - DO NOT WORK FOR CHIZEK TRANSPORT in Cleveland, Wisconsin.
Not only is the owner Mike Chizek a real p***k, he steals the owner operators fuel surcharges and charges maintenance of the trucks double what it would be anywhere else. Also, when drivers ask for a cash advance of $50 to pay for tolls on the road he screams "I'm not a bank people!", even though he is driving around in brand new trucks, etc. He didn't even start the d**n business Daddy gave it to him. Their turnover rate is astounding, you CANNOT find anyone that has worked there more than a year.
The worst part is, he lease purchases trucks to drivers (rent-to-own) and a month or two before the contract is up or the driver almost has it paid off he fires them or the driver mysteriously quits. Most of the trucks have had 7 or 8 different "owners".
In summary, Chizek Transport is a shitty place to work and everyone knows it. Mike why don't you start giving drivers their fuel surcharges and stop stealing them???Chizek sucks and everyone knows it!!
