I bought a 61 tv from cc of Fairfield and after a year and ahalf the tv started going out. I contacted the service and got voice mail. that's all I ever got. finally contacted the bbb (pretty worthless imho) contacted the state of consumer affairs. pretty much the same. finally did the small claims. it was a pain but it was the only way you will get it resolved. I can pretty much say they tried to drag me out until the extended warranty ran out. after the warranty expired I was contaced back from the bbb with cc response saying sorry the warranty has expired sorry for the incontinence theres nothing else we can do. and thier left hand doesnt know what theright is doing. I already had the lawsuit in place. a after about 3 months into the filing and2 weeks before the court I got a call from thier legal saying they would give me a new tv. I said a little to late. then it took them the day before the court they called and agreed to pay. I would say this is thier standard procedure. you have to sue thier provider of service since they are corporate. you can find the info on California website. it will take a trip or two to the courthouse. but its the only thing that's seams to get them to respond. oh add a couple of hundred for your time also. all the judge can do is not give you that portion. good luck and even if they agree like me. go to the court and let the judge know whats going on. mine actually did a continuation for a month to make sure they paid me because I didnt have a check by the time the court date and she said if she closed the case they could not pay and I would have to repeat the cycle. and I went back in with the paper work after I got the settlement and closed the case

After being promised a replacement set by the 13th of Sept we AGAIN were called and told they "just" put in for a replacement (for the 3rd time), and it would be another 7-10 business days. Fed up with the lies and rudeness, we have filed a complaint with the CA dept of Consumer Affairs, written to the local bay area newstation, and I am going to call my credit card company (AMEX) to see if it falls under their extra protection benefit. Next will be small claims court! 2 months is WAY too long to be without a working TV after buying a warranty!
