If you have a Citi credit card you will want to check to see if you are acutally receiving your statements if you are on "paper" billing. Received a call from Citi telling me my account was 60 days past due. When inquiring into the matter found I was told by one of their reps , who would not provided his last name, that I was not receiving my statements because I choose "paperless billing", when asked for verification I requested it he could not provide it, only response was it was done "electronically", again asked for proof and could not provided it. Was also being charged late charges that could not be waived until I brought the account cutrrent!! Payment to bring account current INCLUDED THE LATE CHARGES!!!! Simultaneously was on a chat with another rep from Citi who confirmed my account was "paper" billing and not "paperless billing". So consumer beware, another tactic by a big bank toincrease their profits at the soct of their customers!!

If ignraonce is bliss, are you in bliss?
Because real world people take RESPONSIBILITY for their accounts. Paperless just means that you don't get a statement in the mail. Your statement is still available for viewing Online.
If you have too many bills to keep track of by memory then you need to take steps to make sure you use other ways. You could look at home accounting software, or if you like to stay "Old School", purchase a ledger or calendar and write down all of your companies and when they are due. As I can just about guarantee that every single one of your bills are due on the same date every month, and the few that may not be are due within the same 1-2 days every month. In terms of the Credit Cards specifically, by FEDERAL law your payment due date is the same every month, and they are required to provide you a statement at least 21 days in advance.
You can then mark off every company as you pay them, and if you get close to a due date and haven't seen a statement/bill you can be proactive and inquire why, but again any company that is "paperless" you can still access on-line.
I guess since you are so against paperless billing you must still use a written register to balance your accounts and haven't even touched your bank's online banking. Or is your adversion to "paperless" selective?

Must be nice to live in a wolrd of make believe where nowadays an individual only has "one monthly bill" to pay. Most consumers have multiple bills like mortgage, aout loans, student laons, credit cards, etc. That is why none of the accounts were ever "paperless" so charges could be tracked.
Unless your one of those people in thier 40's still living at home with your parents and then I can see why you can keep track of your monthly bills, most likely you dont have any. Wake up and oin the real world.

YOU know it's YOUR account and YOU know a payment is do each month because YOU made payments in the past. Not getting a bill is not an excuse for paying on time. YOU could have called them to check when the payment is due and make that payment. If YOU were a smart consumer, YOU would be checking YOUR account regularly to make sure there are no unusual charges. I'll bet YOU don't do that either. I'm impressed...I really am and no, I don't work for them!
