After responding to a "mailer," listing $89.95 for 5 rooms, a spot was "cleaned" near my front door with a wet process and I was told I needed this process and it would dry in 3 or 4 hours.

Afraid that the original "dry" process would appear different than the yard-square wet patch, I consented to a $250 job! Only a path was cleaned throughout: no furniture moved. Two days later it was still damp and I called the company to complain about the "bait and switch" and the damp carpet. I was given an address and told to write a letter that would be forwarded to headquarters.

My letter was returned with a "undeliverable, CMRA no authorization to recieve mail for this addressee" stamp over the address.

I've called the two phone numbers and get the story that Clean Dry, USA is out of business as of last week, and that the two are not connected. None of their stories add up.

I would be willing to pay the original $89.95, but feel I have been taken for the other $160.

Clean Dry USA and Clean N' Dry are both independently owned and operated franchises under Dry Tech Systems Inc. There are multiple affiliates throughout the country using the same advertisement with their independent franchise name. Customer service is very important to us at Clean Dry USA. In order to insure that all of our customers receive the best service possible all of our technicians and managers undergo training in customer service as well as the more technical aspects of the field. We guarantee satisfaction on our work and have created a successful process in order to achieve that satisfaction. This complaint was posted before the customer contacted the company in order to discuss the job done at her house. Had she contacted us we would have sent a technician back to her home in order to address any concerns that she may have had. When the customer did contact the company through email the managers gave her a partial refund as per her request. We are sorry if the customer is not 100% satisfied with the job as that is our goal with all of our customers however we were not given an opportunity in order to fully execute our satisfaction guarantee and when the customer requested a refund we provided her with a partial refund.
