Climate Solutions came to my house as the result of the previous owner providing me with a one year ins. policy. My A/C was not working properly. Their technician Phil was wonderful and so helpful. He got the evap coil replaced and paid for by the ins. company. Then the reversing valve needed replacing a month later. Phil tried to get the ins. to pay for it but they wouldn't.
While I was in the middle of replacing all the tile floors in my house and I was in a desperate situation, Mark (owner's son) came to the house and after a short insection of the unit said I needed a new one. If I agreed to let them put it in that day there would be a discount on the price. I said not today because of them mess in my house. Mark even asked the floor people if they would be in there way replacing an A/C unit. He had no right to do that without my knowledge. Again I told him no and he was really trying badly because his crew wasn't busy that day. Who cares.
They came the following Weds, 3/19, and installed the unit. In so doing they sealed up the place where I was supposed to change the filters. They gave me no instructions on the unit. I called the office a few days later and was advised that I would receive a mfgs. warranty and a letter from the company. They arrived a week later after I called again and the Maintenance Agreement stated "free for one year". Mark specifically told me it would be "three years". I called the office and they apologized for the error and said they would send a new letter. After a week and it didn't arrive I called again. This time they sent the letter "twice".
I never heard anything about the inspection that was to be performed by the City of North Port and I had no paperwork to show that there was a permit obtained. I called the office again and said they didn't have time to drop off the permit. I said PLEASE MAIL IT. They did but it was not the complete information.
I was contacted by a Brian from CS and told that they do a preinspection on the following Tuesday. When they came, they said it was not insalled properly and would not pass the inspection so they fixed it. I was supposed to have the inspection the following Monday but they called and said North Port didn't confirm. I made the appt. for the following Monday and when I called the prior Friday I was told the truth about the previous inspection. The woman who schedules had an emergency in her family and had to leave and could not schedule the inspection. Lies, Lies, and nothing but excuses.
It was inspected the following Monday, two months after it was installed, and the inspector told me they didn't have to make the additions to the unit thay they did. It was fine the way it was. I guess they don't know installation laws for different towns and counties.
I will never recommend them to anyone. Too much pressure to buy and not enough knowledge to install unit and lots of made up stories. How can you possibly trust someone like that!!!!
