I contacted this person which is the owner of a Cabbing Business in Tucson which facet's gems. He wanted pictures of the gems and turquoise I was willing to sell and I told him I had no pictures which was a month ago.He said at the time to get him a list of what I had and he said to use his pictures on his site to match up what I had for sale.

I have a 1,000 gems or more so I got back to him today and sent a list with prices which was 50% of wholesale. He emailed me back and said that my prices were to high then told me on the phone that you will never sell your gems to anyone else I will make sure of that.

Then he emails me and starts harrassing me saying it is illegal to use other pictures than your own and start's cussing. He offered me pennies on the dollar for two hundred thousand dollars worth of gems and said he always wins.

The IRS need to check this guy out and they probably will!

I have been a long time customer of Rob's. I have purchased a fair amount of faceting equipment from him over the years. I can say I do not believe a word of the complaint. Rob has always given me the best service possible. He has always made a point to ensure I get what I want, at the agreed upon price, and in a timely manner. I have never had any problems, and I appreciate him calling and verifying I am the one actually making my purchases. My experience with Rob has been great. I do not believe Rob would do what he has been accused of, and I will continue to purchase from him in the future. If someone has a problem with him, I doubt the real problem lies with Rob. I have never seen this behavior from Rob, and I seriously doubt the validity of the accusations.

My business was solicited via email by the person making the complaint. He said that he had some turquoise he was willing to sell to us at 50% off of wholesale. Needless to say, I was interested in checking out what he had. So, I asked John to either drive 20 minutes from Green Valley to our office in Tucson, or to email us some photos and prices. Instead of sending us a photo of his turquoise, John emailed us a photo of OUR turquoise from one of our websites! The prices he wanted were also high retail, not wholesale. I told John we would not be able to purchase any turquoise from him at the prices he quoted. He said that he could sell it for twice the amount to someone else and I suggested that it would be a good idea to do just that. I also asked him to not use copyrighted photos from our website to represent his material. After that conversation, we received an abusive email from him saying we were criminals and were trying to steal from him. I was a bit taken aback, because we only said we weren't interested in purchasing his wares. I asked John to not contact us anymore. Instead, we received an even more abusive and foul email. At that point, I blacklisted his email address and thought we were through with him. It looks like I was wrong. A good customer of ours notified me that there was a negative report about us on ripoffreport.com. Much to my dismay, it was from John in Green Valley. Incidentally, we are not a cabbing business and we do not facet gems. Rob Kulakofsky www.color-wright.com
