A few months ago we contacted Comcast by calling the 1-800-COMCAST number. We had to place the order 4 times because it kept being rejected. Come to find out the people who lived at our house before we moved in had a home based business. We were told that they would switch it from business to residential service and it was supposably taken care of.

With the new service we were to recieve a combined total of 200.00 for rebates (as we enrolled in the Tripple Play combo with phone, internet, and cable). One day we got a call saying that our bill was late. I called them back and they couldnt even find me in their system. Finally we were able to find out that the service had just been re-activated under the name of the company "High Tech Solutions" (the business that was here before). We were advised not to pay anything yet bc of the mixup and they needed to correct it. I called them frequently to make sure it was being taken care of.

Finally I recieved something in the mail and you wont believe this, but my service is STILL under High Tech Solutions, they just added my name under the business. This cannot be legal. Not to mention they cant give me the first bill I need to get my rebates, so I have lost out on my 200.00!! I need a bill that has my name on it. I have only recieved letters from Comcast saying changes have been made. I have NEVER recieved to this date, not 1 bill from them!

When you call, you just get hung up on, thrown back in que when they are supposed to be transfering you to a supervisor, or just told they will take care of it, but of course they dont. The just tell you whatever to get you off the phone and out of their hair. I have worked in customer service and in call centers so I know how it works. When you first call you HAVE to talk to the rep that answers the phone and go through the problem for the 1,000th time, then they might transfer you to a help desk agent who just acts as a supervisor so the real supervisor doesnt have to deal with it.

Just like that, I was reassured today they are sending my bills (after 4 months of hearing the same thing, somehow I just know Im not going to see those bills) and not to mention Im out the 200.00. I would switch my service but there is noone else that services out here and I cant have satelite bc my landlord doesnt want that stuff on the property. I sure hope you are ready for a fight if you ever get their service. I have no idea how to get someone there to take this seriously.

They gave us this long speach about how "other" people sell their service and they arent responsible for what they offer, but it's funny that these "other" people have access to Comcast systems, as they hooked mine up, and how can they give me rebates if they dont have access to my bill?? Even if other people sell your service they must have some affiliation especially if they can have my service hooked up. I just wish that Comcast would take responsibility for their service and just FIX THE DANG PROBLEM. I hope High Tech Solutions files a lawsuit against them!
