CONNS ripoff LIED ABOUT REPAIR FEES BEAUMONT houston Texas
Conn's Repair technitian came out to give a price on what it would cost to fix a big screen which had been purchased from their store for less than a year. The technian gave a price of $400.00 called back and confirmed the price by phone but, I was instructed by the repair department that I would have to go inside the store and pay for the service so that they could order the part.
I went into the North Freeway and I45 office in Houston Texas. I asked why should I have to pay for service before it was rendered. When I tried to get a refund and just stop the whole thing. The asst. manager said to call his manager the next day becuase he did not know how to refund my money. At the same time the repair department was telling me we will fix your set and everything is paid for in full. How about when the tech did come out he wanted $289.00 more, and said that the tech gave us the wrong price.
I took this to higher vp's in the company and they would not return my emails or phone calls. I contacted The Better Business Bureau. The result was un resolved,
