ConsumerSolutions, Stootsi.com misrepresenting "like new" merchandise, warranty scam, charging for returns of broken merch, threatened me when I filed a claim Freedom Pennsylvania
I purchased a phone from this seller. It was advertised as "like new". When it arrived, it looked as though it had been kicked down a gravel road, it didn't hold a charge, and didn't work properly. I wrote a polite letter to the seller and requested a replacement that accurately fit the description in the posting. What I received in return was a message refusing an exchange and threatening to "call the police" if I filed a claim with eBay or Paypal. I then received 3 canned/form e-mails from the seller pushing me to purchase a warranty. -A warranty on a product that obviously wasn't working.
There were no messages or responses from the seller via Paypal or eBay with regard to my claim.
After a little investigation, I discovered that this seller has an extreme history of this type of practice. He has had over 2645 negative reports in the past 12 months alone. 256 just within the last month. He also runs a site called Stootsi.com, selling the same merchandise.
