Contact Privacy - Contactprivacy.com POSSIBLY COST ME THOUSANDS BY THEIR INEPTITUDE ripoff Internet
STAY FAR AWAY FROM CONTACT PRIVACY & IPOWER.
IF YOU EVER WANT TO SELL AN INTERNET DOMAIN NAME, DO NOT PURCHASE THE DOMAIN THROUGH IPOWER (in my opinion, the worst customer service on the planet & their domain management functions are heavily restrictive. If you use Ipower to register your domains, you will REGRET IT).
...AND NEVER USE THE SERVICE THEY (ipower) USE TO PROVIDE ANONYMITY TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. THIS SERVICE IS NORMALLY REFERRED TO AS A PRIVATE REGISTRATION... and, with Ipower, it's provided through a company called CONTACT PRIVACY.
NORMALLY, IT IS VERY CONVENIENT TO USE A PRIVATE REGISTRATION SERVICE, BUT WITH THE ONE IPOWER USES, CALLED (CONTACT PRIVACY), YOU, THE DOMAIN OWNER, HAVE NO WAY OF RECEIVING MESSAGES FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN BUYING YOUR INTERNET DOMAIN.
CONTACT PRIVACY DOES HAVE AN INTERNET FUNCTION FOR PEOPLE TO CONTACT YOU, IF THEY WANT TO BUY YOUR DOMAIN... BUT IN MY CASE, WHEN SOMEONE TRIED TO USE THIS FEATURE TO CONTACT ME, THE EMAIL THAT I RECEIVED FROM CONTACTPRIVACY.COM WAS BLANK, SO I HAD NO IDEA WHO WAS TRYING TO CONTACT ME, OR WHAT IT WAS ABOUT. FURTHERMORE, WHEN I TRIED TO get in touch with Contact Privacy about it, I RAN INTO ROADBLOCK AFTER ROADBLOCK, and to this day, I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO "CONTACT" Contact Privacy & find out who was interested in my domain.
WHEN I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM (CONTACT PRIVACY), I FOUND THAT THEY HAVE NO MECHANISM FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS TO CONTACT THEM... no email address, no phone number, except a stupid & useless recording which refers you back to their website, & the website is only set-up for you to send messages to other people who have domain privacy services with CONTACT PRIVACY. When I called Ipower, or Ipowerweb, about this issue, and asked them how I could get in touch with the company Contact Privacy, their representative put me on hold & disconnected me. I say he disconnected me because 8 out of the 10 times I have called Ipower Customer Service, during the last 2 or 3 weeks, I have been disconnected from their end, within roughly 90 seconds of getting through to one of their, in my opinion, incompetent staff.
ESSENTIALLY, CONTACT PRIVACY OFFERS NO WAY FOR THEIR CUSTOMES TO CONTACT THEM. WHEN THEY SAY PRIVACY, THEY MEAN IT!!! and that sucks if someone wants to buy your internet domain, and is trying to get in touch with you. They may want to offer you thousands of dollars for your domain, but THANKS TO CONTACT PRIVACY, YOU WILL NEVER KNOW ABOUT IT. DON'T USE THEM & DON'T EVER BUY DOMAINS THROUGH IPOWER.COM
... (unless you want to be endlessly frustrated & cheated out of the money your potential customers want to pay you).
INVISIBILITY IS NICE, BUT IT'S NOT THAT NICE!
If you want a good domain registrar, & domain privacy service, I recommend the quality and reliability of (((ROR REDACTED COMPETITORS NAME)))!

YOU'RE SITE SEWER RAT WHO HIDES TO ABUSE THE INTERNET. SOON ALL WEB SITE OWNERS WHO HIDE WILL BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER. THERE ARE MOUNDS OF LAW SUITS GOING ON TO EXPOSE YOU. ALL PEOPLE HAVE TO DO IS FILE A SMALL CLAIMS CASE AND SUBMIT A SUBPOENA (CAN DOWN LOAD SIGNED SUBPOENA'S ON-LINE FROM THE COURTS) TO THE HOSTING COMPANIES ETC. THEY TURN OVER INFORMATION ON THE SITE SEWER RATS (LIKE YOU) RIGHT AWAY. THEN PEOPLE WILL POST 'YOUR' NAME AND INFORMATION ALL OVER THE INTERNET AS A SITE SEWER RAT -- FOR THE WORLD TO SEE.
THE MORE YOU ACT DISHONESTLY -- THE MORE PEOPLE WILL TRACK YOU DOWN AND EXPOSE YOU AND COME AFTER YOU. YOU CANNOT HIDE ON THE INTERNET ANYMORE. IT'S CHEAP TO GET A SMALL CLAIMS SUBPOENA TO GET YOUR INFORMATION AND EXPOSE YOU.
ONLY DISGUSTING WEB SITE OWNERS WHO ABUSE THE INTERNET ARE SITE RATS AND HIDE IN THEIR SEWERS. GO CRAWL BACK IN YOUR HOLE YOU DISGUSTING HIDING WEB SITE SEWER RAT.
