Contractor's Choice Lighting Nice product, but HORRIBLE to order from!! Ripoff Valencia California
Ordered an outdoor lamp post with 3 arms. Looked nice enough on the website and they were offering free shipping. I was told the item takes about 2 weeks to ship. No problem with that.
Lamp was shipped March 17th and received about the 24 of March. Upon opening, it was noticed that one of the arms was snapped off. Contacted the company on the next business day and was told they would just send out replacement arm. They said they had it in stock and would rush it out and that I should receive it by then end of the following week.
Here is where my problem with this company started... after the following week passed, I had my husband call to see where the item was. Then he is told that the arm is still being powder coated and would be delivered to us at the end of the following week (beginning to see a pattern here...). Well, the time passes again and when we finally get ahold of someone, we find out the arm has finally been shipped (May 5th and we are given tracking #) and we get the arm May 12th!!!!
My problem is they shouldn't have kept telling us that the item had been shipped out if it still had to be powder coated! At least then we would have had the option of returning the lamp to them and getting one from Home Depot or Lowes (which is what we should have done to begin with!!!!)
The product is nice and it will eventually look good in my front yard, but all this time has passed and I have been charged interest on my credit card while not having a complete lamp! Then on top of that , this company, who should treat their customers right, has threatened to sue me for slander because I complained to the BBB! I have my receipts and times/names of people spoken to all documented, so go ahead, CCL...sue me! Now, instead of having just a disgruntled customer who would have eventually calmed down.. you have one very pissed off New Yorker on your hands!!
